No.You and others have convinced me to take prints and get a goddam microscope.
Seems like nobody believes what you have unless you have pics of spores and what not.

Good. I hope that habit spreads like mycelium running! A mic is cheap, if you skip a drink.
I was gonna say they look like PA cubies. They have something similar in Oregon. CubeTalk was telling me about it.
Are they edible?

I'd eat 'em if I were you. How close is the nearest hospital? You could chow them, make a run for the hospital and get a cute nurse to take care of you.
Screw those books. I ID them Mr. Mushrooms-style. Shoot from the hip and cross your fingers.
I was also wondering where your sorry ass was. This place gets lonesome with all the newbies pestering us for ID's. I need my posse 'round to spice it up.

I'm always around.Like polish people in an unemployment line.
If I ever see these again I may try a tiny bit.Might be like Wine Caps.
Then again there is that cute nurse.

If I saw that cogwheel annulus without the rest of the mushroom I would think they were WineCaps.
I assume you like WineCaps, if for nothing else their name.

The WineCaps were freaks way out in a riparian system. They are cultivars AFAIK, even though they are found in the wild. They are the mushrooms that brought me back here. I couldn't believe that is what they were and I don't belong to any clubs nor know anyone who could help me.
I was wondering about the vegetation in the background. You don't seem like a Hostas sorta guy.

Too bad I had to take wedding pictures.

I hate those social occasions where I have to hide my fascination for fungi.
I was at an outing at Deer Park when I spotted Chanterelles fruiting everywhere. I was like !!!!!, now what do I do? I found a small lunch bag and proceeded to pick and stuff when no one was looking.
Imagine you're at a funeral and the deceased is being laid to rest right near a patch of your favorite mushrooms.

Man I'd try to pick as many as possible.
I got scolded by the missus quite a few times at the wedding.

A wedding would be worse than a funeral. With a funeral you could always go back. That isn't as easy at a fancy-shmancy party place for receptions.
Me: Excuse me. I was here at a wedding reception the other day and I noticed quite a few interesting mushrooms. Would anyone mind if I pick them?
Guard: I suggest you leave now before we call the police, Freak.
I only thought of the funeral because a dear friend of mine was laid to rest out of season for mushrooms. I went back during the season and found some Shaggy Parasols. I was like :whew: I'm glad these were fruiting at the funeral. I'm a friend of the family but I don't think they'd understand.
