Here are the beautiful Pan Subbs I found this morning growing on my favorite horse's dung... At least I think they're pan subbs..  :grin:
They were flimsy mushrooms indeed, half of the mushrooms were damaged in some way by the time I got 'em home.

I couldn't resist playing detective after someone asked where he had found those...

He found them somewhere in Georgia.

Look at the newspaper article in the lower right. It's hard to make out words, but a couple did catch my eye, Barnes and Perdue. I did a couple web searches on Yahoo.com and found that Perdue and Barnes are campaigning for Georgia governor this coming election.

looks like Pan Subbs.. not the most potent shroom, in fact they're quite weak from what i'm told.. but i'm sure if you ate enough you might trip decent.

can someone answer me this?

the only real subb lookalike is the non active foescensiii or whatever theyre called, right?
do they(the non actives) even grow on horse manure?

No, they dont grow on manure.

As for the shrooms, they do appear to be Panaeolus subbalteatus.

Is the spore-print a jet black. Paneolus foenisecii is said to have a dark brown rather than a jet black.

Any brusing?

Those are some nice specimens.

how many of these guys would you reccomend i eat? i've eaten them once and just had that "coming up" feeling for a little. my body was all tingly. my friend ate probably about 20g fresh the other day and he said he felt nothing. how potent are these things?

They're not potent at all. They're weak. You probably need hmm... 4-6 grams dry... around 20-30+ mushrooms wet.
