What about something like this?
No specific info on capacity as far as how many jars it can hold, and nothing on the PSI rating for them. Maybe it's a start, though.

Its 6 litres which is 5.3 quarts.
I might just have to get a small one for now as I can't seem to find anything larger here.

If its on Ebay, email the seller. They will specifically quote you on the shipping.
Most of the time, a lot of sellers will just list shipping within the US and forget any other countries, so you have to email them. If they ship internationally, they'll gladly quote you. Just keep throwing those emails off the sellers, you'll nail one.

Had a price of $140 to post to the UK, making the total price about $340
Not had any other prices though, going to go for something like this for the meantime: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Tower-Litre-Aluminium-Pressure-Cooker/dp/B001D27D0Y/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&s=kitchen&qid=1229441914&sr=8-6
If it doesn't mention the PSI that the cooker can handle is it safe to assume that it can reach 15PSI? (I think thats what I need it to reach).
Thanks for the help

Well for fairness sake...a New All American will run $300+ where to get mine to my door was around $80 shipping + customs + the price where it came to around $240 (it was a 50 year old AA). So its not all bad, if it's an AA, I'd say its worth it. But then it depends how far you want to get into this hobby.
As for the tower one, it looks really cheaply made (one sided handle). Just my 2 cents. Which one were you looking at that came to $340?

Thanks for the advice and help again.
Yeah I did kinda just think, if I can't get it over here then obviously i'm going to have to pay that kind of price.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=180312946438&sspagename=ADME:X:AAQ:US:11 that one is 15.5 quart and shipping is around $82 to the UK.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=190273028516&ssPageName=ADME:X:RTQ:US:1123 is the other one which had shipping costs of about $140 to the UK.
EDIT - also been quoted $180 delivery to the UK for this:http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=110323692727&sspagename=ADME:X:AAQ:US:11
Thanks

Yup, same shipping as me (I'm on the adjoining border).
So, basically you just want to work out how much you want to pay for a pressure cooker and how much you plan to do in this hobby. If its a short term thing or small stuff (without bulk grains or moving into edibles) you could get way with boiling pot and PF tek...but if you want more, you'll have to make the investment. Remember, a smaller PC doesn't mean its bad...it just means you'll do more batches if your doing more grain.
But it'll last forever and you won't regret it if your going in for the long haul. I bit the bullet and aside from a flowhood, it was the only big expensive item out of all the rest of stuff in this hobby/profession (flowhood was cheaper). Everything else is small potatoes after this big jump.

Maybe your could try to contact the people who make the smaller cookers and see if they make a larger one. If so, who sells them? Even if they don't they may have a recommendation for you. Just a thought.

Looking for PC as well.
Here what I found in UK here
Made by HAWKINS http://www.hawkinscookers.com/downloads/pc_catalog.pdf
Not sure if it's any good.
I'm just starting, so may be 14l is sufficient for me...

For the money this here seems like the best deal. I know that a couple members have gotten it and said it's good too. And if your Wal-Mart doesn't have it, which is a pretty high chance, there's an option on the link to have it sent to your store free of charge for pickup.
23 qt Presto - $97.98 http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=2625289

 I gotta vote Presto.
Affordable, easy to maintain and get parts for, not bullet proof like AA but really who's gonna shoot at their PC?. Another bonus. It isn't an autoclave!
If you're growing any actives it's a pot you use to make stew, not some hard to explain chunk of laboratory equipment! They really do make great mashed potatoes by the way, pop the valve at 15 PSI and cover your ears, they mash themselves!

Good to see you around Peter! I also gotta recommend a Presto. I have a 23 quart and it is great. I got it to grow oysters, but find so many other uses for it. We have made apple butter, canned lots of different soups, made pot roast, dyed clothes, etc. It was definitely a good investment and I don't feel like I'm missing any functions that the All Americans and more expensive models have.

Hey Desertturtle! long time no see!
I got a strange job now so my schedule is kinda all screwed up, I'm not a regular or consistent poster anymore.
Had one of the relatives over and she offered to make soup....she makes damn good soup! so I said "Sure!"
Brought out the 23 Quart, still got some frozen.

Peter's right, Presto is a great brand...
If you can't go AA then Presto is your next best bet. But I got an AA for about $70 more then a Presto, so I went with the AA. I'll probably get a presto down the road though...$100 for 23 quart, how couldn't you get another one?
