It is hard to find information on submerged culture. People are being very secretive or flat lying. The reason are the potentials which could bankrupt traditional spawn companies overnight that do know how to make consistent liquid spawn. I am thinking bubbling oxygen into a tank with an airlock so co2 can escape would be worth experimenting. The flow rate of the oxygen would be tricky. The gases must be very important. The morphology of mycelium is so varied due to slightest changes in Co2 and O2 temp and humidity one of the clearest and most strikingly is the mushroom. I have read there are two liquid forms pellets and stringy. I think when you see pellets its done. Sorry to not answer your question. I don't know. I have read agitataiton can dedykaoyoitze the mycelium in a scientific journal which sounds like bullshit. RR says stamets method works. I doubt this. Eberbach will fracture cells. Philip Catalfomo reports in his phd theses a method that might work. For P. c He blends after the pellets become visible, instead of blending the mycelium covered agar as stamets suggest. Hopefully, the truth will come out soon. Not accidental myclelium growth or sproes germinating in a syringe. Or people posting dextrose colloids in suspension. Hoping they have a litte mycelium There are a lot of Patents being written and I am sure there are a lot of patents on this subject. Also, the oxygen would need to be clean.

"And I will repeat this again: you must wait until the mycelium has won over a liquid culture and had a chance to completely scour it of all bacteria. You'll know this has happened after the mycelium is dense in the solution and between it, the liquid is clear."

You don't have to wait for it to be "done" As long as you see mycelium growth it is good to go. This is a LC I started on the 21st

bottom view of small jar with 2 silicone injection ports in plastic lid with rubber gasket, notice little booger like growths.

The LC "Master" the small one came from, fully grown and basically starving at this point, I have to keep it in the fridge so it sleeps, but it's been at room temp for a few months.
An experiment in LC production from slant cultures. small 3 RPM motor and a grown over slant I added water to. Rotated for 3 days in a warm room. The water dissolved some of the PDA agar in the slant and made for creepy fast colonization. After I sucked out the LC from it in a few days it was grown over again and good to be LCd again. Aside from the PDA being in solution you could just dump sterile water in a grown petri dish scrape the needle around and suck it up to get similar results.
This is a pic of that chick with the stunning eyes holding a copy of the mag after she is a little older. Take a good look at your girlfriend's Mom my friends, you have been warned. The only difference I can see from "done" LC and "not done" LC is one is out of food, hibernating and looking to expand and the other is surrounded by food and looking to expand. Take your pick but I think slightly underdone LC has the advantage in that the LC food gets on the grain or PF cake or whatever and allows for faster growth.
30 CC honey to 600 CC tap water for these LC by the way.

Nice photo How did you inoculate the third photo down, and what species is it? Do you agitate the liquid at all? Does this work consistently?

Third photo down started as an empty Lion's mane LC syringe. Like an ass I shot the thing dry and didn't save anything! So I made up some blank LC and just sucked solution into the empty syringe and out again into the LC bottle.
A few days later....Growth!
Yeah it works great, LC to LC is fast and easy. It's already trying to crawl out of one of it's grain jars.
