I don't know if this has ever been posted, I haven't seen it on here, but here it is. Listen closely at 1:27, where someone says "Look at the camera and cry".

Hopefully he grows up to be better than his piece of shit family.
And finds a way to selectively give them the plague.

It's so obvious that they were out to hurt his feelings. Why goto all that trouble just to give him clothes. These people suck.

While I don't find the trick played on the kid to be that bad (might even teach him to be less materialistic), the way the family did it was cruel and nasty.
On the other hand the kid should be grateful for what he has. There were a load of present and stuff in the room and a lot of people are a lot worse of than him.
Just the fact that he can get his hair bleached regularly shows that he isn't that badly off.
Some people are too materialistic nowadays. My christmas presents were always books and clothes and I was happy to get them and we weren't that badly off. I think that the most expensive gift we ever had was a Super Nintendo to share between 3 brothers and we didn't get any other gifts.
But then, we never believed in giving expensive gifts for xmas. if you wanted something expensive you saved your pocket money and weekend job money for months and months to buy it.

my parents did that to me for my college graduation. my mom showed up, pissed off because of the 'traffic'. she didn't smile or wave or even say hi to me, then handed me this little box for some fancy name brand pen... but then inside the box, was this shitty ball point pen that prolly had cost them about $3.
some parents get off easy. my parents made me get a paper route when i was 11, and that's when i started buying all my own clothes. at 15 i started at a grocery store, and started buying my own food. in college, i got a scholarship n took out loans and worked part time jobs. i don't think my parents have ever given me money. like, never. i didn't even have a car til i got my first 'real' job after i graduated undergraduate school. i pay for all the payments myself.
i have a good work ethic, and i'm a totally honest and nice kid to people... but i get taken advantage of ALOT.
i kind of side with the spoiled girl.

No it's not. The kid would be better off without Xbox 360 anyway. When I was his age I played outside.

We need to get all of our kids xbox360's, in hopes that they might isolate themselves from those bad influences that are outside "playing" (a.k.a. getting into DRUGS AND ALCOHOL).

Also, if you read the background on the video they caught the kid peeking before Christmas so they put clothes in the Xbox box and put the Xbox in something else.
When he's unwrapping the box it's evident that he's not really surprised about what he's seeing, he's trying to act like he's surprised though. I'd say he got a good lesson - learn to delay your gratification and don't spoil the mysterious by unveiling something before it's supposed to be. That's good psychedelic training.

+1
I didn't even get anything for a graduation gift. The last time I received a Birthday present was at the age of 12. After that my dad said I was too old for that kind of stuff, if I wanted something I had to earn it myself. I have never in my life received a Christmas present from my parents, nor my family or frieds. I hated them (parents) for it but now I thank them for it; through hard work and determination anything can be achieved.
I'm glad I learned it at an early age so now I don't have to deal with money problems/etc. Teaching your kids the harsh realities of life early on will ensure that they don't get fucked over by the world when they grow up.
As for this video, pretty damn cruel. I do hope he did get the game as the description said, if not then that sucks but I don't feel the least bit sorry for him; he's lucky he even got a sweater.

watch whos laughing when this kids 17 and the parents are getting calls from PD every weekend caus he didnt get enough hugs as a kid.
I havent had a birthday party since i was 10 and my parents stopped buying me gifts for any reason at around 16 because they said I was too old for that. Yea it taught me to take care of myself, but it also taught me to take care of me and ONLY me.
Yayyy +1 for survival skills

yeah i'm totally with everyone else who stopped gettin presents when they were 12. my situation is pretty much the same. like last christmas my mom got me a sweater that didnt fit and she made me take it to the store and get the right size. i'll never forgive her. it feels good to know there are other people in the same boat as me
