> Since you're counting senators too, she's #17 of 535,

Sorry, I was going off of your statement/link, "The 50 Richest Members of Congress" and assumed that "congress" was referring to all of congress rather than one chamber of congress.  Still, she is in the upper few percentage regardless of how you try to spin it.  Not that it matters, unless she is using her influence within congress illegally.

Pelosi also gets money from the fake environmentalist movement that does nothing for the environment, but gives plenty of money to the Democratic party and uses scams to rob people of their hard earned money.

Here's absolute indisputable proof right here:

If environmentalists donate money to promote their cause, the best possible way to spend that money is to get politicians elected that believe environmental protection is important.  Politicians can have a much greater impact on the environment than anyone else.

So as long as the elected politians support the environmental cause, it is incorrect to say that giving the money to politicians "does nothing for the environment".

Fortunately, the House introduced H.R. 2341 - the "Stop Trading On Congressional Knowledge (S.T.O.C.K) Act.  If you take a look at the link, and click on "show cosponsors", you'll find that of the 10 cosponsors, only 1 is a Republican.  Then if you click on his name, you'll see that he is a R.I.N.O. based on his "ideometer" (he votes more with Democrats than Republicans).

I'm still not convinced that its actually not illegal for congressmen to conduct insider trading.  I coulda sworn I remember one of them being investigated for questionable trades not long ago.

This is an abstract argument devoid of facts.
How many congressmen made fortunes while in congress?

If there are many, we probably have a problem. Otherwise, shut up.

I'm going to assume without checking that there aren't many, but that most rich members made their money doing something else. If I'm wrong, I'm an ass.

Depends upon how you define fortune.  Bill Gates fortune?  No, not many (if any) in congress have done that well.  Couple million dollars... yeah, with all the benefits, I suspect most members of congress have made off at least that well.

Certain members of Congress are acquiring huge fortunes, due to a little known perk these "Public Servants" gave to themselves.  This perk allows these "elected officials" to engage in insider trading legally.  Pelosi's liberal use of this "Golden parachute", has her on top of the "most wealthy list".  As a matter of fact the top ten are all Democrats. How can you write off thirteen million dollars, and claim to be in "touch" like bills wife.  Liberal lawmakers have been given a free ride for way too long, it's time that all of them are scrutinized equally.  The "Bush Haters" are so myopic, that they have given the keys to our Country to histories biggest crooks.  The idea is that politicians should enrich our Country, their view is that the Country should make them rich.

Interesting.
