Police raids

Heading back into summer here in new zealand and as usual the police hellicopter and spotter plane have been hanging around unwantedly.
Yesterday they came around to our 60acre block of land, circling over the whole area. We covered the plants that were growing in our garden up with some light brush as we ran to the top of the hill to see the hellicopter lowering it's bucket of destruction down onto one of our neibours patches, what a shame for him. It went from one patch to the next spraying them all with the blue gum. We went up to see him later that day and he had been at work and didnt know that they had been to his place... Just hope he dosent get busted... It started me off thinking that it should be legal, if a group of people from over the country that were keen got together, we could almost make cannibis wild. If it was wild it would have to be legal wouldnt it? If not it would be easy to get If maybe 500 people started growing plants with seed, and spreading seed every year all over the hills it would be an accomplishable task. You have to remember the size of new zealand and im only coonsidering the north island... Almost all growers want bud with no seed, because it makes the bud SLIGHTLY less strong, and reduces smokable mass. But if everyone grew seed, and spread, im sure it wouldnt take too many years to make it a wild plant.
Thats my theory... What do you think?

I think drug warriors are unbelievably unrelenting.
But it might be worth a shot.
Just don't get caught. Because if they find you, whether you're planning on harvesting or not, I think you'll be familiarizing yourself with the interior of a cell.
I don't know what cannabis laws are like in New Zealand, but hundreds of plants in Canada would carry you well into your "golden oldies."

It's fairly strict penaltys here too, and if you planned the whole thing you could go down for maybe organising the whole thing, maybe thousands and thousands of plants...

it's kinda funny but through the late summer and early fall I have the helicopters constantly, I dont grow any illegal plants but they're determined to spend a great deal of time over my place with the assumption that I do, my neighbor reported to me that they spent a good 10 minutes trying to get a peek ingo my barn without actually landing and walking in, he was in a tree stand no less than 20 meters away
maybe if they spend enough time here someone else will be getting away with a grow

Yea, they also like to try and scare the hippies... They flew up a local valley in the hellicopter not even spraying anything, just to scare the people I reckon... Scare everyone away from growing drugs...
Dosent seem to work to much tho I reckon. lol

I don't know about NZ, but up here on the NA continent, there are organizations doing just what you said. Trying to change the government's perspective. HEMP - Help End Marijuana Prohibition, NORML - National Organization or the Reform of Marijuana Laws. Maybe you can get some NZ chapters started and work on it. I don't know your blue gum, but about 25 years ago, the US government was helping Columbia spray crops that they found with Paraquat. It was supposed to just kill the plants, it didn't, and got harvested and sent up for sale. It really hurt some peoples lungs. They had to stop the spraying. Also, one of the pot mags has a slogan just for the spreading of seeds. I can't find the slogan, but it's kind of like a Johnny Appleseed but with pot seeds.

Here's a mag site that really pushes for reform up here. http://www.cannabisculture.com/

georgia had 10 years for murder but the death penalty for selling to a minor on the 3rd offense, government seems to take drug laws much more seriously than others

we thought if you could feed them to birds so they go everywhere, but the birds stomach acid would be an issue, but some other kinds of seeds get through, could be a plan... anyone got any other plans/ ideas?

birds have a gizzard, it grinds most seed, that would be a bad way to try and spread them

You have to get political. There has to be a group that will fight for people's rights. It will take a group, a small and very brave group to start it, then a big group of people to continue the fight. They started the war, we must finish it. We have 'Smoke-Ins' on the front lawn of the federal parliament, the cops don't do anything during the protest, they bust people going to and from. It is so cool watching the news showing scenes of people lighting up and the cop just stands there watching.
However, there are fewer or no busts these days due to the Supreme court ruling that the law is unconstitutional. I'm still trying to confirm reports that there are zero busts.
You need to fight them with the same legal crap they try to use against people, so, unfortunately, you need lawyers and politicians to come on board too. I don't normally trust lawyers and politicos, but it's got to be the 'devil you know' to help. I'm sure that there are lawyers who smoke pot.
Nothing gets done in a vacuum.
I'm sure that any other operating group will be glad to offer some advice to people in NZ who need it. These groups would also be aware of any that are already in NZ, if there are any.

Do a You Tube search for Marc Emery. He is known here as 'The Prince of Pot'. He is very radical and has spent many a day in jail for the rest of us in our fight. He is extremely literate and knowledgable on the subject. I posted his magazine earlier : http://www.cannabisculture.com/ and his news site : http://www.pot.tv/ These are good sites to get local and international info on pot law changes. Here's an interesting interview with him, I especially like his description of a 'sub-culture'. part 2 I believe. intro :

part 2
part 3
