are pf cakes suitable substrate for other species other than cubensis?
how bout panaleaus tropicalis?

pan trops need dung. You can make a sort of pf cake using dung that will work for pan trops. However it's more common to innoculate rye or birdseed and use that to spawn the dung.

Pan. cyanescens and P. tropicalis need either dung or straw or both in the substrate mixture.

So Anno, if one were making birdseed jars for Pan. Cyans. would one add horse poo or straw to the jar of birdsed, and if so, how much, and would there be any difference in PC time.
