That's pretty cool. I will more than likely get a SAK soon, I don't have one....yet. I was looking at Victorinox website and they have some sweet blacked out monochrome SAKs. I really like those ones.
I have a Benchmade Bugout as my main blade, but I'll be honest; the above SAK gets way more daily use as it's just right there. I use the parcel hook for SO much shit; pulling and tightening springs, repairing and resetting bike chains, twisting wire into hooks, etc. I'll cut, carve, slice and dice most bushcraft stuff with the Benchmade with ease, but those SAK scissors are like the best scissors on the market and worth it alone IMHO!
I had no idea you could switch out the scales on a SAK until recently. PDW has some really expensive titanium ones that look neat.

Correct! The alox scales are the best, you just lose a little function w the scale holders, which most don't care for anyway LOL.
I've never broken an OG plastic/composite stock SAK scale, despite beating the shit out of these knives on the daily. Dropping on concrete, falling out of pockets, etc. I hand sawed a bunch of decent sized twigs and sticks for a project in my side yard a couple days back, using nothing but the Huntsman SAK saw - severely underrated!
They also have models with lights and pens now, which is something that didn't exist 30 years ago on SAKs!

I didn't ask why it was there, I asked what you did to it. The heads welded on all cockeyed. You do that on purpose?

Some of 'ems have a horizontal chipping side some of 'ems have a vertical chipping side.
Personally I always liked the vertical chipping side but these days if I have to get a chipping hammer out someone is in deep shit.

That hammer isn't really mine. It is my buddy's shop. He has my welder and I have access to his scrap pile and shop anytime I wanna fuck around.

It's a Prometheus Design Werx Invictus IBL. I wound up with three of them. I think I'm going to sell that one.
They're completely sold out and selling for crazy prices on eBay.

I was going to make you a potential offer but I spent my gift money on the Gransfors Bruks Forest Axe I've been eying!

I may or may not come back around in a few weeks to inquire.
