Taste the rainbow

Here's my Tac-Force Napoli with rainbow finish, glistening fragrantly with Choji blade Oil which did a great job on assisting the assisted opening with some needed lubrication.
I removed the belt clip on the back, as you definitely wouldnt wear this on your belt or CC it where I live!
Contrary to its Italian Stiletto looks, its an assisted opening knife, you flick it with your finger which is just as easy, with the added bonus of being a legal blade in my jurisdiction as opposed to an illegal one. For ease if use it makes no real difference.
Sturdy design, nice liner lock, first Ti-anodized knife I ever owned, comes in 440 Stainless, point's almost as pointy as my Fairbairn-Sykes, edge is fairly sharp for a cheap, factory sharpened tool, its 100% stainless steel, no aluminum quickies were pulled, very sturdy, lanyard-holesd pommel would be good as a yawara.
Satisfied

Hella tight. I love my Spyderco Starmate VG-10, I wish that they still made them so I could arm my entire family with them.

I need to send mine to Benchmade for sharpening one day haha. She's still sharp and steadily being abused at work. I honestly can't say the same for my Spyderco though.

Don't EVER send it back to Benchmade for their shitty sharpening service. They took off more than 1/8" of meat off of the belly of my Elishewitz 690. That knife was brand spanking new, and I got it back from them in the shape that it would be after 25 years of aggressive sharpening.
It cost me $5 too!
This is after the blade damage. It is also 17 years old in this pic with the blade in the same profile as when I got it back from the hacks at BM.

Yeah, they obviously fucked up and should have replaced your blade for free regardless if it were discontinued. Probably was sharpened by a new hire with a medical marijuana card.

Yep, I'm never looking for trouble but if It happens to find me. I have 46 rounds of 9mm +P+ hollow points and a blade on me at all times or in my vehicle. I'll give the threat the option to fuck off as well with a beam.

So I haven't had reason to reply to this thread in over 10 years. Look at the first page and I was the second reply to this thread. I still have the Gerber (over 20 years old now) and I still carry the Benchmade daily (for about 15 years now). But with the exception of a machete which stays behind the seat of my truck at all times I haven't added a blade to my collection in the last decade.
But I finally decided I needed a decent knife when camping. Often my folder doesn't cut the mustard, and the machete or a hatchet is too much. So I picked up this one.
K-Bar BK10 Perfect size. Feels good in hand and weighted nicely. Blade is quite heavy so no fear of damage when doing tasks like splitting smaller wood or prying with it. I like the thumb grip which was missing on many similar blades. And the grips, although nice, screw off which leaves me with the option to make stone scales for it in the future if I wish (I do lapidary work and would like to make a bitching set for this knife). And it came with a decent sheath.

Stone grips sound incredible. You will not be disappointed with that Becker!
But what I'd really like to see is that 10 year old Benchmade! It was getting some wear on it a decade ago, you gotta post a picture of it now.

Ask and ye shall receive.
Here are both the Benchmade that I carry daily and the Gerber which I haven't pulled out in many years. If I lost either one I would be crushed.

edit- I've been through multiple sheaths for the EDC knife over the years. I buy them at the military surplus store.

I've never heard of anybody sheath carrying a benchmade! Thats unusual, did you pull the clip off it, and why the aversion to pocket carry? Thanks for the photo bud. Looks like you did some sheet rock work with it! That benchmade sure is holding up well. Theres hardly anything missing off the blade in a Decade of use. Really impressed

I don't like to pocket carry so I remove the clips. Always been a sheath guy. And thats mud on it right now from something I was doing at work. I occasionally clean it and sharpen when it needs it but it spends most of its time looking like this.
