She's a convicted non violent felon and already has pepper spray. Her PO even told her she can't be with me when I have a firearm on me. I was like wtf, this bitch did some research and found out who I was without my girl telling her shit and that I have a concealed carry permit. So a knife is what she carries.

If you email Benchmade customer service and tell them you want a deep carry clip they'll send you one for free. Be sure to tell them which model knife you have.
They sent me two deep pocket carry clips and a sticker.

It has a carry clip on the right side. I'm going to let her figure it out. She only runs in spandex, so she may take that off and just tuck it in her sweaty butt cheeks. Thanks for letting me know that, she might be interested.

The deep carry clip allows it to sit deeper in the pocket. I would get one just for the sticker, lol.
I'll take a picture in a minute to show you what I mean.

You lose one of the screws but it sits way deeper in your pocket. They tell you to put a drop of blue loctite on the bottom thread of the screws when you put them in.

Nice knives. Sacrificing one allen screw with 242 isn't hurting anything. Fuck! Now I need a folding knife. I've been stuck on fixed blades but don't carry them because they're fixed blades.

I really, really like the 940-2.
I have lots and lots of pocket knives but I have fallen in love with this one.

Knives really arent safe for self defense. Shes significantly more likely to hurt herself or have it taken from her than actually fight someone off
Whats wrong with pepper spray, or a handgun even?
Nice knife though. I wanna get a minigrip with a sheepsfoot at some point
None of those are good choices for self defense. A knife is a good choice for stabbing somebody, a gun is a good choice for shooting somebody (and they'll still have plenty of time to kill you, after being shot with a handgun) and pepper spray is a good choice for getting pepper juice all over somebody's mucous membranes (and experiencing the blinding magic of blowback). Not to mention the fact that anything she does with any three of those is way more likely to end up being considered a felony (on her part) than self defense unless she already has people trying to rob/rape her when she goes out jogging (in which case she might want to consider going running in a place where that doesn't happen as often). Being under arms doesn't mean that you're any safer. If you're in a place that's too dangerous for you to be unarmed then all a weapon is going to do is afford you a false sense of security.
She's also way more likely to shoot herself on accident than she is to cut herself with her own knife.

That being said, you should carry a weapon if you aren't willing to utterly destroy it. That knife also isn't really made for stabbing. You know how people always say that guns are tools? That Griptilian knife really is designed to be a tool.

I can kill a nigga with my bare hands, tools just make it easier. Why not 1up on your opponent? Tell me more.

Okay. You don't have an opponent. And if you're really that damned interested in outsmarting the bad guys then why are you meeting up with them for a fight? And how exactly do you think that a shootout (assuming that you're totally justified, from a legal standpoint) is actually going to go down? Do you really think that anything coming out of your handgun has enough energy to stop somebody dead in their tracks? Even if you shoot them with a hollow-point or the bullet disintegrates and shreds them up enough for them to bleed to death they'll have a good ten seconds at the least to have their own turn at killing you. Same for a lethal knife wound. And, on top of all of that, if somebody really wants to kill you then you won't know about it until they initiate the process thereof. There's a reason why it's called "defense" and not "violent prophylaxis."
A gun won't protect you. It'll just give you the ability to kill something with a gun.

Shut up, chibiabos. A person carrying a gun/knife is certainly safer than someone without one.

I just gave all my knives and guns to a random crackhead walking down the street. Now that I'm unarmed you should feel a little safer. I'm done with the thug life.

If they're using their gun/knife as an excuse to enter dangerous areas then they'll be way less safe. And it's not my fault that people don't die like the bad guys in your vidya games. I also didn't tell you what you can or cannot carry. I just pointed out that the mechanics of a lethal injury do not work in your favor in this case.
