When you live in florida for 25 years like I have, and you know the true beauty and biodiversity that make the state what it is- being destroyed on all sides, and developed everywhere there is land; species of endangered animals being driven from their habitats with no place to go; invasive populations in all kingdoms flourishing; wetlands being filled and polluted; housing market failures; worst job market in the country with the most schools; hurricanes yearly -----I don't know?
I love Florida and it is a nice place to live, but those are a few reasons why one would "turn his back on Florida" after being a dedicated native for a long time. I don't blame g.g.

well,,,, now he'll have to deal with most of that stuff in Washington PLUS the colder weather, etc.../// because our economy is fucked at this point any way you look at it really...

Have you seen the difference in developement between the two states? lets see washington- seattle Florida- Miami, Tampa, Orlando, Jacksonville, Tally-IDK?

ive had like a good five friends leave to washington out of just not liking the vibes anymore, not to mention ive seen washington and its forests and they are Full of rotting bark and psychoactive-hallucinogenic mushrooms to grow by the plenty.
and it snows in washington. Its never snowed in florida since 1994 and it was out of a rare event where all the wind humidity flew up to high and made snowflakes.
Certain places in Florida have perfect atmosphere. wet and foggy before sunup or sometimes wet year round. I like it.
