I would say, depending on how much time you have for this hobby, that a mini greenhouse is the best bet
^^^^^ A fully automated portable greenhouse is what I use. It's sitting on a board which rests on two wooden 4x4s to elevate it off of the wooden floor. On top of the board I built a container to catch the condensed water out of the carton that the greenhouse came in and lined it with a heavy duty plastic sheet like it is used for garden ponds. The benefit is that the dimensions are exactly those of the greenhouse. I made a drainage and sealed it with aquarium silicone. I have a cool mist with a 5 liter tank. So all that I am required to do is to refill the tank every 2-3 days and drain the bottom every other week. Not really a part time job and I am getting great results.

I have been to K and Wal-Mart and can only find the rubbermaid closets with the breathable fabric type of cover. Inexpensive at approx $26 I settled and brought one home. I then lined it thoroughly with plastic and duct tape. I made an accessory panel for the ultra-sonic and cool mist inputs. I have it balanced out at 99% RH with the cool mist running one hour on/ 2 off and the ultrasonic 15 mins every 90 mins. The cost to set up was not bad at all...less than a year's worth of good mushies. martha = $26 Ultrasonic = $45 cool mist = $25 wire shelving=$15 lights, timers and ext cords=$35
best $146 I ever spent, I can fit 30 6L shoebox trays in there which could effectively produce various edibles for local restaraunts!!!! I laugh when someone says mycology has expensive investments...it's the cheapest hobby I have ever had...and the most rewarding!

^^^QFT! I can't wait for spring to happen. I have already started acquiring everything I need for an outdoor mushroom garden. I have reserved a shady and damp corner of the garden for that purpose and I am going to grow a variety of edibles on logs and straw and also set up an azures patch.

You DO have drop water from the cool mist fog condensing on the inside of the greenhouse. Like I said. The solution is to build yourself a tray out of the carton that the greenhouse came in and line it with some heavy duty plastic sheeting and then add a drainage and elevate it off the floor. The drainage I made out of a nozzle of one of those silicon tubes. They come with a lid to stop the Martha from simply going incontinent and pissing all over the floor, because mine is in my bedroom, not in the garage. Like this:

That's like the nozzle with lid that I used, pushed through a hole I made in the bottom side of my water catching tray. I simply "borrowed" the nozzle from another tube when I bought the silicon to seal the rims of the drainage so the water wouldn't get into the cardboard.
