Psychedelic experience, freedom, present moment [help]

What is "freedom" like? Like all of you psychonauts talk about. How is it different from a "drone"?
Is freedom beyond the "earth" (what i see everyday)? If so, what do you see?
Is it overwhelming when first discovering chaos?
Swim personally cannot find/see his own chaos.
Swim just feels like he is in a box right now. He will soon eat mushrooms but, he is a little paranoid about not finding his own order. He just dosn't want to feel suicidal after a trip or something.
a question: Like marijuana, does one get that "eternity, here-now" paranoid feeling(like he will never sleep again). Because swim has a problem with not applying constant awareness throughout his days. He always dives into past experiences and fanticies. instead of living in the present.
help...thanks...

It can or cannot be, it just depends on you.

I think you're just worrying too much. I am this way very often, even after having tripped 30-40 times now. Almost everytime I trip though I always end up thinking how rediculous my worries were, yet it always comes back . You just gotta trust yourself and go for it.

I get the this moment is an eternity/there is nothing but this right now way more on psychedelics than I ever did on marijuana. It doesn't even compare. It's generally not accompanied by paranoia though, and very often it's a great thing to experience. As long as you start on a low dose I think you'll be fine.

I once heard the reason you can't remember being born is because it's too terrifying, that's sorta like discovering choas, I imagine.

Paranoia and apprehension always greet me before a trip, and after every come-up I laugh at the thought of them. If you're just nervous of trying the drug, do your best to relax yourself and simply try it. It's the only way you're going to know what it's like, we could describe it all day, but trying it is a much faster approach. Start with a light dose and test the waters.
Good vibes

Thanks guys.
A question: Is 1 mushie(~1 gram) of dried cubie's a good start.
Also, if swim just eat one, do you think it would last less than ~8hours?

1g shouldn't last any longer than eight hours assuming they are Cubensis, and it would be an a good first step in relieving some of the anxiety of how psychedelics affect you.

Ok well, another question i have: One site says to not have anything on your mind for the next 24 hours after a trip, exageration or serious? If it serious, why? I'm just curious so that i could plan a day, but do you think that it would be less serious with 1 gram?

It just means things like don't have an exam, or possibly even work, though I wouldn't worry about work the next day, maybe unless it's early in the morning. No weddings the next day, or yunno lol, shit like that. It doesn't mean don't think about anything.

I don't really know why that would be, though I wouldn't reccommend having any serious committments the next day (personally I wouldn't mind because I like how I'm left after a trip, but I have accounted for preference). I also wouldn't reccommend tripping if anything in your life is causing you distress, or anxiety. Remember, a trip is dependent on (mind) set and setting.

You're freaking out man! Chill--all will go well. Be optimistic/excited. Tell yourself this is going to be THE BEST. No need to worry. Go along with the ride and really CHILL. Refuse for anything to be less than spectacular.

I'm having DJ's at my wedding. Cool brag.
Anyways, trees are like infinite sources of harmony, just picture white light inside them, if by fifteen minutes you haven't met a rainbow that wants to give you either five bucks or some weed, then I don't know what planet you are on, it ain't gaia.

I found 2c-i to be much easier on the mind than mushies, you might wanna try that first to test the waters of psychedelia, look into it.

Oh come on, 2C-I is nice but mushrooms are such a better choice. Just take a small dose, and commune with nature. Trust me, trees are good sources of energy.

for sure mushies are better, but if he's going on a one gram trip, i'd just go for a high 2c-i trip instead.
personally an eigth of shrooms was my first dose on em and I find that perfect for a start.
and yes, nature is great.

I didn't mean to say 'don't attend a wedding' as if weddings are something special. But for instance, if you're getting married, or well.. anyone really close that could cause you to get emotional. You just don't want to have a lot on your mind going into a trip.
This is one kind of trip that benefits from leaving your baggage behind because if you don't the captain gets pissed and throws it out himself.

Its like dropping a gigantic weight off your shoulders that had been slowing you down and causing you pain your whole life. This kinda freedom only seems to come with total ego disintegration which doesn't come easy though.
