Nope, works just fine.
But it came with my computer which I got refurbished for cheap. I wouldn't support dell in any way financially. Just came with the refurbished computer for free and have seen no reason to change (except for the Dell mark, but I manage)

it takes a little bit under a month, actually it was prolly alot quicker it might of been like 2 weeks, on my 3rd i called them told them it was broken and your supposed to mail yours in then they send you a new one, anyways i got lazy and didnt send mine in for like 2 weeks, and then suddenly in the mail theres another g5 and i didnt even lose my old one.
oh yea a little bit of helping information for g5 owners, the way mine breaks is first the sensitivity starts switching itself then when i try and move it it occasionaly jumps across the screen then fianly it just stops responding unless i hold the cord just so perfect. there used to be a forum post on logitech that said it was from the cord inside the g5 having to take two quick turns before it leaves the mouse and the cord inside the mouse eventualy wears down. its a relatively common problem. just send it in and get a new one if it happens

Logitech is trash. EVERY single one of their products I have ever owned (keyboard, 3 headsets, a mouse) ALL broke within the first 2-3 months of use. The headsets all broke the same way, after about a month and a half. First one ear goes out, then the mic.. then the next ear. Pieces of shit. Logitech just builds fancy mass-produced TRASH that is meant to break. Why should I be arsed to waste my time to send in and wait for a replacement piece of trash every 2 months when I can just buy an actually GOOD product and have it perform perfectly for years?
After using Razer and SteelSeries products I will never go back to that crap.
G15 is their only halfway decent product but that was only because there wasn't many competitors for that same thing.

I agree but their G15 keyboard is amazing, this model not the older one :
http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/keyboards/keyboard/devices/3498&cl=US,EN
Ive had it for about a year and a half now and it's been used A LOT for gaming and browsing. It's survived spills and everything.
I find this to be the most comfortable keyboard for me.
I still think nothing beats Razers mouses though

Interesting.. I've just made the switch the other way. My Lachesis and Habu both broke. The Lachesis has a crack in one of the buttons, and the Habu cord has come apart. Both of them were also really bad for random skipping/jumping, even though they're on the Razer "control" mousepad. So far so good with the G5.

I use this also. Didn't take long at all to get used to. Great thing about this mouse is that you can turn the sensitivity all the way up and be extremely precise with hardly any movement of the thumb at all...
this mouse is also great for fine deatiled photo editing.
