SF bay area rain

Seeing as how we have got some good rain this week in the bay area, I am thinking of heading up north to sonoma county (or elsewhere?) for some edible mushroom hunting this weekend. Anyone doing this in the bay area? Any ideas of good places within a 2.5hr drive of SF to do a good foray? I am looking for porcini (boletes) and chanterelles. Thanks.

I'm planning on going to Point Reyes this weekend. It's about an hour drive from SF.

This is the email announcement for a hunt in Santa Cruz that I will probably attend:
OK, the rains are here and the pilei are poppin'. Let's go see what new fungi have appeared since our last visit.
We'll meet at Graham Hill Plaza at 10:45 AM. Then we'll carpool up to the campground and park. Day use fee of $7.00/vehicle will be required, so everyone should bring a couple dollars $$ to chip in for the parking fee.
There are no restroom facilities on this foray. Hydrate appropriately! There is a drinking water faucet at the campground Since our foray is into a State Park, no personal collecting is allowed. Bring your notebook, field guide(s) and camera if you want to remember what we find. This park has all the habitats and tree types found in the Santa Cruz Mtns. Nearly all of the woodland fungi in Santa Cruz Co. can be found within its borders although we will be going on a shorter route with less elevation changes than last year's forays. Also, no creeks to cross!
Map URL to meeting location below : Meet at the north end of Graham Hill Plaza, by Nepenthe Drive, approx. 1/4 mile N of Sims Rd. @10:45 AM Sun. Dec 21, 2008

"no personal collecting" only applies when the rangers are looking, which is almost never.
I am going to be there for sure, btw.
