Yes, the animal spirits are all around us. Try tripping with a nice dog or cat around and you will see. Their fur can be amazing to touch. Music evokes emotions, and the wolf is a powerful symbol of freedom, joy, nature unbounded. On my last trip, I felt the spirit of the dog, which is a wolf tamed, and lay down at the feet of my dear friend with that doglike faithfulness and loyalty. I howled quietly and sadly when he had to leave the room for a short while, just like a lonely wolf. My dog, a husky, comes to check up on me frequently when I'm tripping, she must know somethings up--and I feel so connected to nature in her company.

I once was filled with serpent imagery (no music, just quiet), and so I decided to act like a snake for the next hour. It was lots of fun-- I like snakes much more now...I tripped with my dog once, and I gained an incredible appreciation for him. I'd recommend it.
