the obvious.
    #944748 - 10/09/02 08:09 AM (15 years, 1 month ago)

fuck this government, one of us needs to be president.
-NO MORE trades with the arabs for oil. fuck oil
-MORE FUNDING for other energy resources. when we had this problem with the oil's before (fuckin nixon), they made power plants with solar power, wind power, and "geopower" (forget whats it is called, has something to convert energy from the ground into electricity)
POVERTY - what the fuck, 100000 ways to fix that...
FOOD - we dont have enough food? make farms that grow grains, fruits, vegies, everythihng we need to live, all funded by the government.

every problem in america that we have is ridiculous compared to challanges we had before. FUCK BUSH.

>>one of us needs to be president
Who would vote for 'us'?

>>NO MORE trades with the arabs for oil
Trade is good for the US, maybe not for JUST oil then. What about Brazil? Venezuela?

>>MORE FUNDING for other energy resources
I couldn't agree more!

>>POVERTY
I have a 'friend' that chooses to live on the street. He deserves nothing from the government. (He gave up a gov. subsidized apartment, and his job!!!)  What is your solution?

>>FOOD
Are you talking world wide or just the US? Most grain grown in the US is used for animal feed. It is the KIND of food that is important.

>>every problem in america that we have is ridiculous compared to challanges we had before. FUCK BUSH.

MOST presidents have dealt with your mentioned problems. I do agree, FUCK BUSH (No facts to support this  )

solution to poverty. heh. we invented poverty, im sure we can uninvent it.
taking people off the streets, into shelters, giving them food, educating people with books and idea...all of these things can be done, and im sure Bush could set up programs or something, whatever, one day i'll start something like that. i'll take in immagrants or something
as for natural foods, yeah im a vegetatian, and i can go without any animal farms or milk or w/e humans dont need to live off of.

as for trading with other countries, it should be done to an extent. WE DO NOT NEED OIL, and the little we do need is on reserve already

i've actually heard that a scalar electromagnetic power generator has been patented and is about to be produced or released in some foreign country. free energy device means end of a need for oil or large solar arrays and also it means that the average person can power their own home and be that much less dependant on society

I would really, truly like this to come about. However, there would be great economic disruptions all about the globe and a long period of adjustment. In the end it would be to the benefit of mankind, but many of the common folk would at some point become very disenchanted with the disruptions in their lives as the society went through the pain of change.

I think you're right about the disruptions. Are there alternatives?

"americans just like it cause it's the taste of death"

The taste of death is great grilled with a baked potato on the side, good on a bun with cheese and ketchup too.

Good question. I don't have an answer, perhaps we could look at history for some possible clues on how people adapted to great changes in the past and try and apply any lessons learned to this scenario.

It will make for interesting research. The various technological advances in consumer markets in the past come to mind --i.e. automobiles, radio, television, computers, and so forth. They revolutionized the markets and profoundly changed our lives. No one really suffered (except some industries --temporarily). I can't think of a revolution in the past that could compare --in magnitude- to the idea of "free" energy right now though. I will read some history books and try and find one. It seems to me the ones who would stand to lose the most --if this idea materializes- would be the oil companies and oil-rich countries like Saudi Arabia or Iraq.

I've heard "free energy" stuff like that too, but I assume it's bullshit, because they've been saying that for decades and nothing has happened.
But I'd like to read about the specific device you're talking about anyway.
Scalar electromagnetics *are* interesting, they seem to have some cool applications for covert signal transmission- but how do you make a generator with them? Explain.
