looks like you found someone to help. dude, in all the areas that cubies grow (well, almost) the land is entirely flat. they occur naturally in this country in the southern coastal regions. all flat. the key is to drive around and find the fields with rows of trees at the property line for cover. in louisiana i usually looked for fields way out of town, on rural roads, with lots of stands of trees to obscure vision from the road. plat maps at the library can be helpful, if you can read them. try to find public lands used for grazing, you have a better chance at not getting arrested for trespassing, which should be your major concern, as most cops will not be able to identify an activce species, which would be how they could arrest you for possession. also. azurescens, as is plainly stated everywhere, are known to occur naturally in a very, very limited range on the extreme northwest coast of oregon. good luck.

I love louisiana for its mushrooms and its fields. I went cube hunting a couple of nights ago early in the morning after no rain that day but the air was so damp and humid that they were fruiting anyway. I Brought home about twenty. I dont know about cubes in Ok but i know when i lived in the Austin Texas i found cubensis so you could have luck in OK if it is humid enough and the temp are from 65-85. Those are the temps i have the most luck with. Good luck and happy hunting.
