 Whats the best way to eat/munch fresh mushies?

I usually brew my mushrooms, to be honest i usually only need 14g of fresh to have a nice,good trip  but i want to try an eat them instead but i cant stand the taste,makes me want to throw up, any tips on what to consume them with? is it ok if i just get them down my neck as soon as possible or do i have to munch on them for a little while?

I ate some with ranch dressing once, it was great, couldn't even taste the shrooms

i few days ago i nibbled just the one fresh just out of curiosity. It tasted quite nice to be honest! "mushroomy" tase, slightly bitter. Nice!

Best and easiest way i've discovered is to just chop them up into small peices, pour boiling water of them (1 cup/person) leave it to sit for 10mins. Makr a coffe with the water. Or put some lime coridal in there. Don't taste bad at all. But yeah, I really don't mind eating subs raw eh.. they're pretty bland.

He said he has already brewed them clippers, and wants to eat them without heating... but I agree, they're pretty bland to me, but I guess everyone's palette is different, and we are eating subaerugs (or beao's?!?), of which you don't need much, so that might be easy for us to say !!!
If you want the trip to come on quickly MushieMan (like it does if you take them in 'liquid' form/ brewed), then chop up the freshies before you eat them, so they're digested/ absorbed by the gut quicker...
You mantioned you can't stand the taste, so eat them with ANYTHING that has a STRONG/ overpowering taste that you do like... some good suggestions by others above... (but I can't imagine ruining good chocolate with shrooms, personally!!) I especially liked the salad dressing suggestion, methinks I will break my usual habit of eating them dry (almost tasteless that way), and try this myself! I think it will actually be a NICE/ YUMMY combination (personally).
Re taking shrooms on an empty stomach, if eat them with something that has a really strong taste, you won't have to use much of it, so it will be 'as good as' having them on an empty stomach, especially if you chop them up. One piece of toast, for example, is hardly likely to effect the absorbtion rate of the shrooms much... in my mispent youth, our favoured method of consumption of fresh shrooms was on toast with thickly spread vegemite, but for most non-Aussies, this stuff seems to taste even worse than shrooms (though again, personally I quite like the taste of shrooms).
One last thing, if you're gonna chop them up, do it just before you eat them, don't leave them sitting around chopped up for any length of time...

its easy to eat them, what I do is pop a shroom strait in my mouth then pour a sip of OJ in my mouth then chew with the OJ in your mouth. the OJ masks the taste very well, I still taste it a bit but its not bad at all. the texture is actually more a problem LOL

I enjoy a lovely peanut butter, jelly and shroom sandwich myself...their actually quite tasty...maybe more so than a plain P B & J.

i feel the best way is to eat them with orange juice, or some sort of vitamin c substance. it helps enhance the trip a little.

Whatever you do, make sure you chew them up real good. Fresh mushrooms are hard to digest and if you pop little chunks of them like pills you will regret it. You will most likely have a hell of a stomach ache or vomit, or both. Fresh ones don't bother me that much, just my stomach.
