Right now I use bags but just for WBS.. But I plan on doing invitro style bags.. my recipe will be one Brick of coir roughly 8-9 quarts..
So my recipe rough draft
8 quarts coir
8 quarts coffee
8 quarts vermiculite
8 quarts Wilde Bird Seed
*Maybe 8 Quarts of Worm Castings* 
So that's 32 quarts all together and put roughly 4-5 quarts per bag.. That will make between 6-8 bags without the worm castings and 8-10 bags with the worm castings..

wow... thats a lot of coffee.... I only use coffee in small amounts like 1 cup to 25 bags worth of substrate

Yea in a coir mix, I usually hear of ppl adding 10%, maybe 20% coffee. It's only there for the nitrogen supplementation. I'm not positive, but that amount of worm castings may also be too high.

the coffee is a nitrogen supplemen.... J3 is right... also worm castings in too high of a ratio seems to me make the mycelium grow in a sort of extra hot environment... meaning there was a definite temperature difference in tubs containing worm castings vs tubs not containing worm castings when i experimented with them

WTF do you think you need that much coffee for anyway??? just cause RR said it can be done??? he also mentioned that it fucking sucked balls... but everyone forgets that shit

What does gypsum do I have never used it.. I have only used coffee coir and verm..

Yea he said you could use straight coffee as bulk, but you'd get poor results.

Gypsum not only retains water well, but it also add trace elements for the mushrooms to digest and grow

Man... I miss a lot when the power goes out apparently. I'll try to answer all the questions directed at me from the last few pages without individually quoting.
My name is kind of generic in that I stole it from the speakers that are sitting in front of me, though it's less generic than a lot of the names here. I'm not form Lansing, but I am from Michigan... so it sort of works that way too...
The reports I've been getting of colonization are in the form of voicemails from my friend as I've been working all through Christmas break and she lives in my college town. The one that I was referring to before was something like "Hey, they're like all of the way white now!" That's how I got the figure of 100% colonization.
I talked to her today and it's more like this: One (The one with the hole) is about 50% colonized. Two are about 25% colonized, and the last two are about 1/3 of the way done. We're going to mix the bags as soon as I can get time from work to go to her place.
I'll have pics as soon as I can, but I have a full-time job about 90 miles form her place so I'll have them as soon as time allows. I'm going to try to make it to her place within the next day or two, and if that happens I'll post the pics as soon as I get home.
I don't remember if I said it before but the bags were TMS and the spores were sporeworks, I've got nothing but good to say about both.
Sorry if this post seems dry or something, I'm just really burned out from work. If there are any questions or if anyone has advice about the massaging process I should check this before work tomorrow. Thanks for all the interest!

Sorry, I don't have pics yet.
We inoculated each bag with 2ccs of B+ multispore solution from Sporeworks. The air was sanitized with Oust and all surfaces were sanitized with 91% iso alcohol.
Before the initial injection the needle was flamed, and was flamed between all following injections.
That's all pretty standard stuff I would think, this next part is the part that I may need advice about. I am sorry about the vagueness about the entire thing, I've been a bit frazzled lately.
We are keeping them inside of a rubbermaid tote with the lid removed. The tote is being kept in the utility room, where the temp is about 75-77 consistently.
Thanks a ton for at least checking this out Menace, I know the thread is lacking on my end, but that'll change as soon as I can get down there with my camera.
