if you really wanna help flood some emails

become a downsize dc dispatcher

at downsizedc.org

they send millions of emails to bureaucrats

great idea... they prosecute for spamming through electronic
means, the point is to get the attention of the public and to
flood those emails it needs to come from legitimate people,
if they get 700bn emails they're going to think something is up

u should figure out what that site does

before u jump to conclusions

downsize dc does alot of great work

electronic spam, online petitions, fill in the blank letters
sent electronically... it's crap for the most part, it lacks
the human touch and ut's yet another lobby group

Disappointed.

Why would you expect a longer answer?  The question was "would you consider legalizing cannabis" and the answer was "we do not support the legalization of cannabis"

Pretty cut and dry if you ask me...maybe if the question asked more, they would have answered more...

I guess you're not so familiar with ghandi, seems everyone
believes he's the ultra nonviolent type

I'm just goofing off, trying to work a crowd into a frenzy,
hopefully most everyone will jump all over this and keep
pushing the elected officials into a corner, maybe change will
come, maybe it wont come until we decide to make a stand

Exactly, you kind of proved my point.  They could argue that they went above and beyond in answering actually, they could have just said "no" and would have answered the question posed to them sufficiently.  If you want very specific answers, then you ask very specific questions...

simply be obnoxious but when staying in their face fails,
what steps are we willing to take to regain our freedoms

I agree. We're going to have to decrim first to make it more palatable to the suits in Washington.

I disagree, want to start small and it will stay small, when
they enacted prohibition for alcohol and for drugs they didnt
start small, it was all or nothing, it's time that america
made the change, we get it all or they get nothing

maybe
a time and a place

realistically though

if you take up arms against the US gov

the media will portrait you as a crazed lunatic, and they will likely just increase their power

and they have many more guns than the individual, and are much more willing to use them

when do you think violence is appropriate, and what do you say to violence begets violence ?

one man cannot act alone and achieve a goal for everyone
unless he's in a seat of great power, one man can aid the
masses in achieving that goal, so far theres been little
organization, there are dozens of groups seeking the same
goals yet those groups cannot come together, mabe it's our
job to convince them it's time we all acted together

answer this... if violence begats violence, why have we not yet retaliated?
