Just the idea that religious institutions make up a solid portion of the backbone of Western medical technology is a bizarre concept, especially when the religious organizations themselves deny evolution, a seemingly necessary fact to acknowledge in medicine, stem-cell research, and cultural responsibility (respect for all people as equally).
How is it Christianity has such a dominant influence on our health, whether directly or indirectly? Does that help explain West medicine's lack of holistic integrity and inherit desire for greed?
It scares me to get injured to the point I have no control in the care taken to treat me.
Discuss plz.
Most religious organizations do not deny evolution.
proof?
What proof do you want, look into it if you're interested. Its dumbass American fundamentalist Christians who cant seem to accept simple scientific truth.
The creation story of the Torah was never a historical record anyway, its all metaphor. The Tanakh (old testement) isnt a stand alone book, it has entire library's of commentary detailing the meaning behind every single book; passage, phrase, word and letter, going all the way back to the Babylonian Talmud.

Many religious hospitals are Catholic institutions. The Catholic church has a history stretching back hundreds of years of serving communities with charitable organizations. The hospitals aren't necessarily OWNED by the church - rather, the hospitals' foundation money is provided by Catholics that donate money collectively to healthcare. Whoever donates the foundation money gets to name the hospital.
Catholics actually DO believe in evolution. It's pope endorsed! Get your facts strait. And I've never heard of a hospital with a Catholic name systemically denying women birth control or any other ideologically directed policy. IMO it is a good thing that in a society where the state gives very little to healthcare, not only in america but in other countries where there is limited money for hospitals (including the third world and pre-20th century europe) christian organizations have a history of medical charitability.
