I have been watching the moon more lately
and had some interesting thoughts on the moon, our moods and womens menstrual cycle.

Seeing how the moon phase is 28 days and the average menstrual cycle is 28 days.
I see more than simple coincidence here.

I also saw a halo around the full moon the other night
It seemed to have a significant affect over my mood at the time
I had been having some confusion in my personal life recently
And this halo around the full moon seemed to tell me that I was on the right path and to simply let things play out.

What do you think?
Does the moon have an effect on our moods/menstrual cycle?
You may choose only one

everything effects us.  small effects get compounded when large groups of people are stimulated in the same way.

Womens cycles are not in sync with the moons though.  If they were linked I'd expect it be synchronized.

I could tell when my wife was gonna be on her period by what phase the moon was in.

Generally  about a week to 10 days after a full moon.

Every woman would have periods at different moon phases, based on what phase the moon was when they started.

IMO that is

Its a good theory man, I don't personally agree though. To what extent do you feel this is the case? As in just how much do you feel it affects it?

I can't say really
just making observations on things I've seen.

Do you think that the moon has any affect on emotions?

moon has (exerts) gravitational forces.  we are no less susceptible to changes in gravity than anything else.

i drove 2.5 miles to the grocery across town to pick up some items i can't get anywhere else.  it took me ~1.5 hours to drive 5 miles in all, and i almost got hit 5 or 6 times by careless drivers.  and i'm talking having to slam on the brakes to avoid being hit.

Kinda in the realm of astrology, no?

but the moon affects tides, right?
we are mostly water, right?
makes sense to me

So the gravitational pull of the moon pulls the water in my body up into my head?  Interesting.  I wonder what would happen if I stood upside down on my head?
