Should I?
I'm really considering it but I need feed back..has anyone done it? etc etc.
I absolutely love being active physically and have a high pain threshold I just don't know if boxing would be for me or not as i've never really tried it in a league or anything.
Thanks

I love watching UFC and boxing. I wouldn't mind kicking someones ass for money.

Boxing kills more brain cells than most drug abuse. A friend I know does some pretty serious boxing and I can defiantly tell that his intelligence has decreased a lot.

Concussions are common I'm 100% sure. I have never been in fight, but I want to. I'm afraid I'd turn into an animal and beat the person to death though, literally.

This is a main concern =(, I'm a science kind of guy and if it would have that much of an impact on my intelligence then its not likely. By your friend was serious with it..do you mean competitively or in upper tiers of whatever league he was in?

Yeah, He was sponsored by some local people and did a few matches at casinos. I just cringe watching matches. It just seems so barbaric considering the long term effects.
