There's probably a lot of you who have never even experienced temperatures this low. This is why Canadians smoke so much weed. And it's not even winter yet.

-51F wind chill! Holy fuck!
I that's pretty close to the coldest I've ever been in here in Wisconsin, and that was the dead of winter on a bad year!
This is why I don't threaten to move to Canada.

haha, over the years I've seen so many people in the southern states threaten to move here or inquire above moving here. I always laugh thinkin' they wouldn't last one whole winter. Don't get me wrong, there are places in Canada with mild winters. Not in northern Sask though.

Well even on the east coast which is semi-mild, we hit -40c a few times a year.

Oh, I know. Winnipeg knows cold. And, yeah, goin' outside in this weather isn't so bad. Just need to be dressed properly and it's all good.

I spent last winter in New Brunswick and it was by far the warmest winter of my life. It did get down into the -30s a couple of times though.

Why would you even want to live where it gets that cold? I don't mind cold weather, but thats just somethign entirely different.

If you were born and raised here you wouldn't mind the winters that much either. We're adaptive creatures, we can get used to any climate.

I was born in New Brunswick, have a lot of family there.
Now I'm in Calgary, Alberta and damn it's cold today. Lots of snow.

Yep, you totally get used to it.
Well, not entirely used to it, but one can cope. I love when it's all snowy, cold, pristine.. everything is at a stand still.. so pretty.
