man, growing these babies has been a blast! will blatantly do it again in the new year.
so spores is good? means i can just bite onto that cap when they're dry? how will i know when they're fully dry?

Spores wont harm you if you ingest them though most people like taking spore prints before ingesting them so you can continue growing more mushrooms, also you dont have to wait for them to be fully dry you can eat shrooms fresh which most people suggest, considering it should contain more psylocin. air drying shrooms takes 3-5 days with air drying you'll know when their fully dry when they become very brittle to the point if you squeeze the specimen it should crumble into pieces either way nice grow hope mine turn out just as good =D

Fully dry= "cracker" dry
If you use a heater fan, place them far enough away to not get hot...I used to use one but switched to a dehydrator and found I lost potency with the heater if they got too hot.  It works though...just keep them about a foot away on low.
also, I dont know why anyone would think those are "sterile" caps.  They just haven't dropped alot of spore before harvest. The only cube I have heard of being sterile unless modified to be so is Penis Envy because the caps dont always open.
Major point is...if you are storing them, make sure they are as dry as they can be before sealing them away.  Otherwise you will have a poisonous moldy mess when it's time to liftoff.
