The growing tekks on this page are really good. They aren't that much reading and are really good guides. Or you could do what I did, and I'm a fucking lazy ass. I went to a store in my city that sells drug type supplies and I legally bought a mushroom growing kit. It came with almost everything I need including spores. That's the easiest. And the money you spend on the kit will be recovered depending on what you do with you mushrooms and the money you save by not having to pay someone else for your mushrooms. I'd say it's a good deal. But what do I know.

I hate to say this but Psilocybe Cubensis spores are illegal in California.
