My shit seems to be fully colonized. But the substrate is not very level. I want to case, so should I level out the poo on top with a for or something?

my gusse would be to just case it and even out ur caseing, leave the substraight alone if you mess with it you would probly just contaminate it. read the patching section in the faq

if you are using poo i'd say leave it uncased... when i case poo i get shitty pin sets... thats my 2 cents.

If the substrate is not even, just make the casing uneven also. just add an 1/2" or 1" or whatever casing layer everywhere on the substrate. If its uneven then fuck it. At least the mycilium will colonize the same depthed casing layer evenly to get a good pin set.

if you apply an even reasonably thick casing layer for your first flush it should setup your flushes with a good even flush, including the first.
The first casing is the most important in my opinion.
It dictates the performance of the flushes.
