Anyone want to interpret my nightmare?
    #9413421 - 12/11/08 03:30 PM (15 years, 3 months ago)

Went to a party at former president George Bush’s house, my roomie and friend were there. I used the bathroom, thought I should steal something as a memento; Left the party slightly drunk. Drove the wrong direction, had to turn around in a alley next to shop\parking lot.

As I did a 3-point turn my headlights shown a cop car in the parking lot. I couldn’t tell if anyone was in it, but I immediately drove away. I came to a stoplight at an intersection. A large pair-shaped woman with a long nose came out of the grocery store next to me holding bags. She was the same woman from another dream, a bad person.
I had seen her before, she and her friends lived in my community one building next to me. They were bad\shady people, but my roomie new 1 of her friends from work, a cute girl.
I felt I was being chased by the pair-shaped woman as I drove away. I arrived at home (my parents house, not apartment) in a hurry and I started closing & locking the garage and front doors. I had just locked the screen door and then locked the front door as I had my hand on the number 9 on my cell phone to call 911. :uhoh:

I knew I was afraid of someone chasing me. I turned around and saw an arm holding grocery bags. The pair-shaped woman stepped into my view from behind a wall and started laughing menacingly. I ran across the living room while attempting to call 911 on my phone. She started coming closer to me and everything slowed down. Then I screamed and woke up simultaneously. I was covered in sweat. I looked at the clock it was 11:59; I had slept for 1.5 hours.
My phone rang, I picked it up, it was 12:01am and I was still trembling with fear. Unknown number, but I answered it. The person on the other line had a weird accent and was telling me my debit card payment for my car’s new carburetor didn’t go through. I informed them I had never bought any parts for my car, ever. I was confused and asked why they were calling at 12 in the morning. Responding, that they were in Australia and asked if I was on Eastern time. I said Yes, and he said ‘you asshole!’

I thought for a moment that I was still dreaming and it was the woman from my dream. I became instantly more worried that I would now never wake up from my dream and was stuck. Turns out it was one of my friends I hadn’t spoken with in a while was calling to see whats up, and was just pulling a prank on me. I was shaking and covered in sweat, his timing was unbelievable, I was in pure terror until I realized it was him.

a little background: I had a final in the morning, which I have spent everyday the past week studying for and on top of that I was trying to end my relationship with my girlfriend the same day.

You're gonna get raped by a pear shaped transvestite and George Bush will film it and put it on the internet. The grocery bags were full of ginormous dildos and lube. And gerbils. That's my interpretation.

Really, it just sounds like you're stressed.

I've had nightmares the past two nights because I've been stressed about finals.

yea Gumby, I was VERY stressed about finals too.

Its just that it was the most intense nightmare I have had in many years.

Also, I noticed my roomate and I have both been having a LOT of dreams lately, coincidentally we both have started eating tunafish daily in order to have more portien and get the most out of workouts. I ate a tuna sandwhich like an hour before I had this nightmare.

Does tuna effect dreams???

Couldn't tell ya really. I haven't read any studies on dreams. I might look some up when I have some free time. I'd be interested to read the neuroscience behind dreaming. Maybe zouden can fill us in.

I feel like there may be a connection because tuna has so much of that Omega-3 fatty acids and your brain is pretty much just fatty shit.
Also I have heard people refer to tuna as brain food.

The brain is made of neurons... I don't understand where you get it's made of fatty shit, there's no actual fat in the brain at all.

Well, there are different types of fat. I interpreted fat in the sense that you used it to be like fat in your belly or ass. There's none of that in the brain.

Fats are a subgroup of lipids called triglycerides and should not be confused with the term fatty acid.

Hey.  We try to structure dreams as if they really do have this significant deeper meaning.  The moment you think of something different, the dream changes.  That's all! It's just different thought all jumbled together, but we try to analyze dreams to make them "make sense;" to make them sound more logical as we describe them to someone else.  The same thing happens when we are conscious. We may be walking down the road thinking of butterflies and mushrooms, then all a sudden you think about how much you love or hate somebody and you focus on that and forget about the butterflies and mushrooms. Same thing happens in dreams- thought jumps! There is not going to be any book that it going to justify what your dream is about.  You know what's going on in your life. It is based upon your perception!

I've had a dream where i've died in a car crash and did not wake up immediately after.  What does it mean to me? absolutely nothing, but a good story to tell someone.  Then after that one I had a dream about a grill, a doctor, and some notes someone was holding up. A book might say a doctor means this or a stack of papers means that.  To me it's just random thoughts floating around.

you should have done what I normally seem to do when someone threatens me in a dream, choke them to death.

I once choked this evil woman in front of her kids until she died, telling them i was just making her goto sleep, then proceeded to kick her down the steps and stab her several times in the head and chest.

It was very vivid

Ripple, Thank you, I was sincerely worried I had caught the gay!  :sissies:

the now,
thought jumps makes sense, but I believe there may be an underlying reason of why I am jumping to certain thoughts. I later realized sitting in my class getting ready for my final that the woman in my dream looked REMARKABLY similar to my professor. I think my professor = scary pear-shaped woman and the grocery bags she was holding were symbolic of the final exam I have been worrying over.

teefizzle, no need for interpretation, ur just a fucked up  :kodama: individual. But, I wondered now what would happen if I tried to face my fear in my dream... hmm....

thanks for the input guys!
