And always have been, it's just my personality. I try to hide it and be a kind person but that usually gets me nowhere.
Is there any way to change your personality or am I just stuck this way?

Just wanted to add, I'm not a popular asshole; I'm a depressed loner for the most part.

I'd give you a +5 for that.
But on a more serious note, I empathize with the OP and have felt like this for some time now. Only when I'm really drunk does my true assholishness jump out of my subconscious

#3: Truer words were never spoken, but sometimes my conscious self doesn't know how to handle choices.
#4: Theory; is being a dick caused by depression? I'm decently depressed, and not a dick when I am happy, usually. Alcohol is a depressant, and I can also get very mean when drunk, so does that mean depression = meanness?
Something else to add: I'm very apathetic (I don't give a shit about small stuff), but do care about people in need/people with more serious issues.

You can change.
It takes work.
I used to be an arrogant asshole all the time. Now I'm only like that on the internet.

Yeah you can change your personality, if you examine and address your habits. Being an asshole is just a collection of bad habits. I think the first step is to forgive yourself for your shitty qualities and the second step is to forgive others for theirs. We all got em anyway

I have the opposite problem, I way too nice all the time. Whenever I'm hanging out with people I'm always thinking about them, it's especially bad in relationships because I can never say no and always end up getting used.
How do I become an asshole?

Yes, you just have to change your character alignment.

Who cares? Act how you want. You're an asshole, so what?
People get trampled on because they can't tell people to fuck off. As an example, #7.
Who's judging you? Yourself? Something happen? There's a time and a place to be an asshole, and if you judge them correctly, you usually end up getting everything you want.
