Tripping in space?

I was thinking today...what would tripping in space be like? Assuming you COULD get onto a shuttle while under the influence of acid or shrooms....can you imagine what it would be like? The feeling of NO gravity? Seeing the planet earth from space? the sensation of massive amounts of speed(assuming your tripping during take off or the landing)?
Any one have any ideas what it would be like, or how our body/brain would handle it? Who else would LOVE to do something like this(i know i would).

In the future, they will offer trips to outer space(for large prices of course)...maybe one day it MIGHT be possible. that would awesome

a little off topic but my friend and i are excited about the prospect of finding new chemicals/drugs/entheogens on other planets and imagining the possibilities of what these substances can do to you. theres gotta be some crazy stuff out there.

but yeah, tripping in space would be something else.

well, as part of their training, the early astronauts were given a variety of psychotropic drugs... (but none while on a mission :wink: ...)

i dont really know

i mean theres so much that could go wrong in space, SO MUCH. i mean it would be hard to keep a level head and enjoy it. i wouldn't want to try it unless my crew stayed sober and made sure i didnt mess with the control module. with that premise i'd think of some really far out concepts.

wow man.. that would be so fucking intense. floating in weightlessness, looking at the infinite vastness of space, earth a distant, vibrant sphere set again a black so dark that it is not merely the absence of light but some antilight on the opposite end of the spectrum.. a billion stars set into that inky fabric, each as big and bright as our own sun... what an image.
