preparing substrate early.

Due to unusual circumstances I only have 1 shot of getting this on the go. I have ordered my spores, but they wont be here for probably a few weeks.

My roomates are leaving tommorow and i wanna prepare my substrate into the 1/2 pint jars using pf tek. Is it possible that i can leave the substrate in the jars for a few weeks before inoculation? The spores should be here in 3 weeks.

I wouldn't suggest preparing jars and waiting 3 weeks to innoculate them. If you absolutely must do it though, make your jars, steralize the jars and either put them in the fridge or freezer for the time. Most vendors will get spores to you in a few days not weeks but this is your own situation. If i had to do this i would use the fridge and put the jars in shrink wrap and spray them with lysol. U dont want your substrate to rot or become contaminated

if you can, leave then in the pot/pressure cooker untill it's time to shoot them up.... everything in there is dead anyway.
