GT ready to case? *Pics*

This is one week after subs (12x qt rye) were removed from jars, crumbled, rez-effected, and put into my 20gal Rubbermaid - has painters sheet over the top and one hole cut in the side with tyvek over it. Lots of fluffy white myc.
The plan was to use the 'late casing' tek, but have read that I may be waiting for a long time to see pins on grains - should I just go ahead and case, and hook up my CoolMist to run every hour for 15 min or so? I have 50/50 peat/verm presterilized waiting to go in.

Substrate is also about 2.5" deep, planning on a .5" casing. Should I stick with late casing?

I'm actually late casing my next batch, so I say go for it! I guess it really depends on how many you have here. If this is your only one, I say case it then incubate for a few days, then place in the fc.

Thats ready to be cased. Id go ahead and case and put into fruiting conditions.
But first of. Is your casing layer sterilised or pasturised? Please tell my you pastirised.
Casing layers should be pasturised, which leaves benificial organisms. this helps prevent contamination of your casing layer.

only one hole in the tub? your tub isn't getting enough FAE it wasn't a problem while colonizing but when you have fruits that tub will be far from set and forget.

I mentioned in my post that I would be using a coolmist hooked up to the side of the tub - will this not provide enought fae? Was planning on having it on 15 min every hour to maintain some rh.

I bought the 50/50 peat verm 6qt bag from mycopath, will this not work?

i am not exactly sure how a cool mist works. wouldn't that all be going on inside the tub?

Your good. I checked them out and they are pasturised. there casing is also ph buffered which is a bonus. 50/50+

I'd have the coolmist running 15 min every hour. This is my (inexperienced) understanding of it - this will pump air into my FC via the hole in the side 4 times every hour, providing it with FAE. When the CoolMist is off, it will allow the inside of the FC to build up humidity. Can anyone correct me if I'm wrong?

do regular casing procedures if that's straight grain. Late casing works best under highly rhizomorphic bulk (coir, straw, Hpoo) conditions. You need that casing layer on straight grains to help create those rhizos. So I'd also say case ASAP.

Cool - I also have read this about late casing... substrate will be cased tonight, back into the incubator (which is also the FC, just with a non-clear top and tyvek where the CoolMist input would be) for a day or so, patching, another day, and then fruiting.
Main goal with this grow is to see a nice even pinset, size of fruits can be worked on later.
Any more suggestions guys you have helped out a lot so far.

Well it has been 13 days since cased and put into FC, and still have seen only patches of mycelium poking thru the casing layer, no pins. Coolmist is on for 30min of every 3 hours, and have been misting with distilled water a couple times a day, trying to keep casing layer looking moist. What should be the next step? Will post pictures in about an hour.

Pics, as promised.
Casing layer, day 14 after .25" 50/50 peat/verm casing applied.
Fruiting chamber w/ Kaz coolmist hookup...
And a little bonus, the latest additions to the glass collection... 20" Illadelph green label w/ Illadelph ash catch 22" ADS frosted blue bubble bottom single perc w/ inline ash catch
What do you guys think about my casing - any tips or ideas to help initiate pinning? Casing is at 2 weeks since application and there hasn't been much change in the mycelium growth on top since.
