Habitat: These were all found in a grassy area. So soil/grass in southern CA. I did not see any wood chips or anything like that nearby, they were found on an uncut lawn in front of a house. (ie watered daily) Temperature has been moderate in this area 50-60 at night and highs of 75-79.
Mushroom 1: __________________________________ Gills:
Color: Darker brown when viewed from the top, at an angle light brown, almost a paper bag color brown.
Stem:
Thick stem, 11mm (3/4") thick and 75mm (3") long, hollow.
Cap:
60-75mm in diameter (3"), round, concave. Color is a greyish off-white, forgot to take this pic origionally.
Spore print color:
Looks very light brown or grey.
Bruising: None aparent. Maybe tomorrow.
Other information: Smells like a normal mushroom. Not very pungent.
Mushroom 2: __________________________________ Gills:
Light tan coulor, almost like tea with a lot of milk/cream.
Stem:
White, somewhat reflective, solid stem. 70mm long (little less than 3") and 8-11mm wide at different points. Length, diameter, color, texture, hollow/solid, thin/thick, etc.
Cap:
68mm diameter, white outer edge with brownish grey towards the center. It is conical and convex. Almost looks wrinkled on top.
Spore print color:
Dark brown in the smudged area, like coffee beans almost.
Bruising: None.
Other information: A group of them,
Same as the first, smells like a normal mushroom. Not too pungent.
Mushroom 3: __________________________________ Gills: No picture, will go back later. (Did not pick it)
Stem: It looked white, not positive.
Cap:
Light green/yellow, small (10mm), conical, convex.
Other information: Looked slightly slimy. Not sure what that means. (There was no rain or dew to cause this.) I am waiting for it to open before I pick it. Could be mushroom 4 with a closed cap, not sure.
Mushroom 4: __________________________________ Gills:
Color is almost the same as the top, a bit of a brown hue, reminds me of sepia filters on pictures.
Stem:
40mm long, 3mm wide, hollow and reflective white with a green tint (could be from the grass it was in).
Cap:
25mm wide, mostly grey, slight hint of brown and white (see pictures), convex, looks striped outward from center.
Spore print color:
print is a light brown/caramel coulor.
Bruising: None visible.
Other information: Smells more like grass than most mushrooms.
Mushroom 5: __________________________________ Gills:
Dark brown, looks exactly like the picture.
Stem:
36mm long, 2.5mm wide, white/colorless, thin, and hollow.
Cap:
18mm diameter, chocolate brown with some white spots, smooth, convex, with ripples.
Spore print color: No spores dropped for this guy, will try again with another.
Bruising: None.
Other information: Just smells mushroomy nothing too special about it.
Mushroom 6: __________________________________ Gills:
Light brown/cream color
Stem:
52mm long 2mm wide, light brown with stripes down it, hollow and darker brown inside. Thin.
Cap:
30mm, light cream color with brown spots, concave, ripples.
Spore print color:
Another dark brown one, looks like the coulor of dry to damp dirt.
Bruising: None
Other information: Did not smell like the usual mushroom, had a less pungent almost fruitier scent. Only found 1 of these, no grouping of them.
Edit: Last picture showing up wrong.

spore prints are one of the most neglected feature when identifying mushrooms, and sadly, one of the most important.

Picked a half hour ago, they're on paper in a box right now (at 75*F) They should be done by tomorrow morning. I will post them.
On the subject, are the rest of my descriptions OK? I used the pics to augment my poor descriptive ability.
EDIT: Could Mushroom 2 be Agaricus californicus?

Update: Prints added for 4 of them. Will be adding the rest as they come. I may have botched the print for #2, when I went to pick it up, it slid off the needle and smudged the print.

Still, psathyrella seems most likely for #5. Kudos for the proper focusing in those pics
