Teonanacatl's Small Book Of Grafting Cacti.
I think he is a member here as well as over at the nook but i've not seen this document posted on the forums before so i thought it would be useful to grafting n00bs
i didn't ask his permission to post this but i found it on a vendor site that i use so i figure that it is in the public domain and not copyrighted... also, i figure that he made this guide to help people out anyway so i'm pretty sure he wont mind me posting it...
it's a very good read and covers pretty much everything including propagation of certain stock plants, good work
anyway there ya go

Thanks for the guide! Depending on how many seedlings pop up, i'll try my hand at opuntia stock and aerole grafting and see how those work out.

opuntia are not the easiest of stock to work with... they can be problematic because the stock can offset alot, columnar stocks and perskiopsis are the best for beginners i think
but if opuntia are all you have, then go for it...

I'm gonna try a bunch of different stocks. I have myrtles, pereskiopsis, cereus, opuntia, etc. Depending on the germ rate i'll try my hand at all of them, as long as i have some root based ones left in the end too.

just remember that opuntia's differ slightly to the others, the vascular tissue is towards the edge and not in the centre.
