    #939018 - 10/07/02 09:43 AM (18 years, 11 months ago)

These were found in a cow pasture, under some trees, in some cow dung. They all bruise blue.

Thanks :]

well, fresh seems to be relative, when the species are active.
none of those looked all that fresh, but i'd say eat the less frsh ones now, so that the ones you keep will last longer. probably two days. if you decide to dry some, you will lose a lot of your psilocyn, but they will still be potent as hell from the psilocybin.
they are definitely cubensis.
my five cents.
good find, where in general, are you?

i don't know of any poisonous gilled species that bruise blue but don't rule out the possibility.

they will stay in the pasture as long as you don't pick them all and rape the field.. allow the caps to become fully open and drop spores. this is usually the best time of the year.. and summer as long as you get rain and it's not to dry. other than that yeah, they should keep reproducing over and over again. considering the cows and dung are still present.

all you fuckers with access to wild cubies are lucky asses!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
all great finds.
pretty pictures.  thank you.
hope the experiences were productive.

hey moe, i wouldnt say stoned really applied to this situation, but, ok. i'd say "TORN UP".

hey DERELICTS:
where in kentucky would make a big difference, as would the temp and rainfall.
i have heard of cubie finds as far north in kentucky as far north as lexington, but have not been inclined to believe them.
i would say your chances are at least "fair" if you are in southern kent, or if you can drive a good bit.
if its been too cold ( below 60 during the day would prolly be too cold) for too long, your prolly out of luck.
you should do some searches for kentucky, though.  it seems like there have been some other interesting finds in kentucky.
peace and good luck to all!!!!!!!!!!!
