is fermented kanna always tan? a particular source i'm considering ordering from specifies that theirs is green, not tan. they don't mention anything about fermentation, so i'm thinking it isn't fermented.

I think most places don't mention that it is fermented, but is and the man is right I just was too lazy to look it up fermenting gets rid of that acid and makes mesembrine and the other alkaloids more active/available.
