You will learn with experience, that DMT is so much more predictable and because of that, so much more enjoyable. For the average Joe, Salvia has a reverse tolerance process. Its this reverse tolerance process that makes dosing tricky in the beginning. You have some wild rides ahead of you, ones that will likely change your way of thinking about how much you like it.

While I certainly have not used it 1000 times, I have tripped on Salvia 25+ times and still "like" it. It certainly IS a brutal crossover into the other world, but if you have good set and setting, it's easily manageable. In fact, getting a sub-breakthrough dose is HARDER on the mind than getting to a level +++++, when you are stuck halfway between this world and sally land, it's a hard thing. When you get that +++++ dose, you don't even know about this world and become completely immersed into the trip.
I do not feel the need to use it more than 3-4 times a year tops though....it takes me a while to integrate the trip, as when I use it I typically trip 2-3 times on it in one evening.

On my second try with salvia, was when I began to hate this devilish weed. One of the scariest, horrifying feelings I've ever experienced was due to salvia.

Its my favorite drug of all and on good days i do it almost every day, depending on a few things. Ive never smoked DMT but Ive taken ayahuasca, done plenty of good acid, shrooms and tried two different RC's so Ive been around The block. I think its just a personality thing. some people love it some people loathe it. I love the Chaos!

The feeling of being struck by lightning and my body feeling like pens and needles, while I can't even recall my name or where I was, laying out in a shed alone, trying to scream but the words won't come out, isn't the most appealing trip to me.

I think i read you experience report maysrome, you where in your grandparents shed, using a pop can to smoke out of right? with all the things you did that made up your set and setting you can only blame yourself. and it sounds like you where stuck in salvia purgatory in between our world and another.

Perhaps, but I was comfortable in this particular shed, as I have many fond memories of being young and playing in it. I believe that I underestimated the extract, since it was only 10X pure. I'd tried 20X before, with little to no effect, and simply thought I would get minimal effects from it, yet I was very wrong.
I've not completely given up on this plant. I want to attempt to grow my own and smoke the plain leaf, and then in the future make some small extractions, etc. I feel that if I gain a bond with it over time as I raise it and nurture it, in turn, I will have a much better experience.

Glad to see that I'm not alone. I fucking love salvia, as RGV said, even after over 1000 times. I tried DMT after Salvia and thought I didn't like it compared to Salvia. I later found that to be true only for breakthrough doses. I prefer salvia for a breakthrough experience. I also like low dosing. A return to DMT without shooting for breakthrough has shown me that I love that shit on sub breakthrough doses though I've heard many don't. WTF. I've always been different. lol
Sucks about your laws. I'd be trying to get a plant or at least a cutting. They are there I've heard. You just have to find them.
I'm awful afraid our laws are heading in the same way. Many states here already have.

oh god, i just had my last hit. this shit is fuckin insane. i don't see how anybody could not like it. all i can really remember is standing up and trying to walk out of the room, but i can't, it's like it won't let me. i can remember standing there and looking down, and then this biiiig long drool came out of my mouth, i could feel it, but i couldn't close my mouth. it also felt like there was someone else there with me, or like other people there.

Sounds interesting, your lucky you got to try it. It really aggravates me that we can't get salvia or kratom.

I've tried Salvia a couple of times. The first time, I attempted to play Mario Kart. The track keep worming and snaking, I couldn't stay on the road and just laughed and laughed about it. and it was very intense. I had this weird feeling of deja vu, as if I was sitting in a living room in the 80's...and I somehow felt like my dad. And felt very connected to him for some reason (I met him for the first time in 23 years last July, and we are shockingly similar). It was almost as if I was staring through that basement apartment window staring at that strange orange-brown carpet and seeing my own dad in my very place. It was very interesting, but not overly intense. However, I didn't like the needly feeling very much, or the intense sweating. Plus, the hit is verrrrrry harsh.
The second time, my friends were sitting me and watching Clueless. I took the hit and had to set the pipe down and then whaaaaam! It hit me! I was watching the TV and it started to move around, and I felt as if I were sinking into my chair. I turned to my friend to explain it, and started talking. However, according to him, I was talking in "slow motion" as he put it. To me, tho', it seemed as if I were speaking at my regular pace. He just laughed at me, which made me crack up and then turn back to the TV. There was a scene with a fence, and it seemed to me as if the fence extended beyond the TV and I could see someone jump over it and then run into the screen and into the movie. The room then started to take on a very closed-box feeling, and I felt as if there was no door, and we were just in this cube and couldn't get out. So I just focused on the TV. That was when the character pulls a piece of gum with her fingers from her mouth and stretches it. Except to me, it looked as if she had grabbed her finger with her teeth and kept pulling and pulling and pulling it. So I cracked up and then jumped off the couch to excitedly show my friends what I had seen. I mimicked her actions, and they just stared at me like I was a crazy person. It was at this point that I needed to prove that I was, in fact, in my apartment and that it was real and not just a box. So I ran across the room, and literally jumped onto the floor on hands and knees to "prove it was real." My friends just laughed and laughed and this is about the point where I stated to come down. All in all, a crazy experience.
I like the experience, but the comeup is kind of crazy and it feels like you're taking off in a rocketship. But the sweating and the pins & needles just really bother me a lot when I'm trippin' on it.
