I moved from Wisconsin a year ago and all the mushies i got were usually azures, I was wondering if FL has any azures that anyones heard of or discovered and when they're around. I know its always pretty hot here and these guys usually dont work well in the heat. thx and peace

wait. you say most of the mushrooms you got in, where, WISCONSIN were AZURESCENS? why is there so much confusion about this. did you pick azurescens in the wild, or in someones backyard in a wood chip pile/ or did you buy them from some amazing person?
no. not in fla. florida has plenty to keep you busy tho. seriously about those azures tho.
what!?

how do you know the shrooms you found in WI were Azures?
Florida has a ton of active shrooms.. Azures are cold weather species and ONLY grow in the pacific northwest of the united states.
Maybe you found some that look similar, there are a lot that look similar in Wisconsin. Go out and look in cow fields in FL.. do you know what Cubensis looks like and how to identify one? Do you know what Pan Cyans look like and how to identify one? Those are the two you'd most likely find in Florida.. I'd suggest learning how to ID them.. you can pretty much find them in any cow pastures that have dung in them.

No. You never found Azures in Wisconsin.
And No. They don't grow in Florida.
They don't grow south of Oregon.

I looked for Psilocybes all over in WI for about 8 years and never found them there. WI just doesn't get that ocean misty fog every morning like Oregon gets...

you will never find an azure in Wisconsin.. those wern't Azures trust me. the climate, soil, trees, weather are all differnt in Oregon and Washington, it doesn't get as cold as quicky there.. the list goes on and on. Azures and Cyans only grow on the west side of the mountains in Oregon and Washington.. right on the coast, not the whole state. they are a selective mushroom.
start looking in cow fields in FL, now is prime time.

the shrooms in this thread are the ones you'll be looking for.. they look exactly like these.. bruise blue and drop dark purple spores. if they don't bruise blue and don't look like this don't keep them. good luck.

if you've found cubes then why don't you post a picture of your findings? cubes do great in warm weather by the way, that's the only type of climate they can live in. warm and humid.
