No. That makes no sense at all. Most psilocybian mushrooms are brown(the caps at least). If you're buying them, you're probably getting Psilocybe cubensis, thats what everybody grows.
I've heard of purple haze marijuana, but thats it.

yea the guy who was telling me about them said the cap was brown....by brother just dropped it off, just the cap. its chocolate covered....im going to down it in 30 min....wish me luck and a good trip...my brother took half of one and said i was pretty messed up and that he want even driving his car, and hes drove drunk and stoned many times before....these things must be good.....they better be anyways.....

You must not know a damn thing about shrooms, or any psychedelic for that matter. Driving drunk and/or stoned has nothing to do with driving on shrooms. Do some fucking research before you hurt yourself. 
I've heard of purple kush which is marijuana; yes, I'm pretty sure purple haze is acid. Isn't it the name of a jimmy hendrix album?

Well purple haze is a nickname for high grade purple sensimealia.
-It is also a nicknamed type of LSD-25 that jimi hendix made famous by his song purple haze.
-I have a book of jimi hendrix song lyrics the way that the lyrics were all written and scribbled down,
The lyrics for that song were originally different from what they ended up being in the end..
Purple Haze are not any nickname for psychoactive mushrooms.

hey replica.
in addition to all the other shit i will supress, there is this essential tidbit that i must share.
nobody sells mushrooms dipped in chocolate unless they are selling you something unusual, i.e., not a psychedelic mushroom.
i have had people bring me bags of mushrooms from the street in cincinnati, new orleans and even here in oregon that were a mixture of
different edible mushrooms. the people usually swear that someone they know ate them and got off, usually really "hard".
my guess is that someone had trouble selling their acid, or their pcp or some other dumb shit, and decided to put it on mushrooms and coat it with chocolate.
think about it.
why the fuck would the DEALER do all that dumb shit?
if you want to coat some mushies in chocolate, go ahead, but dont think that people just go around selling them like that or something.
the advantage of shrooms is that with a little education, you can determine what you're getting.
with lsd and many other drugs one might find on the street, you are at best gambling.
yes, gambling. i wouldn't fucking eat a "mushroom" coated in chocolate, especially if i didn't know who coated it, if you paid me.
i hope you read this.
i think what you did was rather stupid.

Errrnnt... Wrong.
Chocolate bars with shrooms mixed in them is a very common thing around here(Atlanta). They call them "chocolate covered starfish" and sell them for about 25 bux a pop. They come all wrapped up in foil just like normal candy bars. One bar is enough for a level 2-3 trip.

anyways....it came in tinfoil wrapper...i cut it in half before eating it...it just looked like chocolate...and i at it and you could taste the shrooms and the little chunks of them...so i guess they chopped up the shrooms and mixed with chocolate and put in a mold...cuz it was shapled like a crazy looknig ant....it gave me a good 5 hour long trip...about level 2 i guess.....

Yeah well Ive seen quite a few chocolate dipped shrooms. I think its pretty common around here as well.
As for purple haze, it could just be the color of the shrooms after being matured with the purple spores on them.
