yeah, also see that it says for faster colonization to inject it at the sides?

"Inoculating twice, at opposing angles, towards the sides of the bag is recommended for faster colonization and even inoculant distribution. "

the online guide on how to use your shroom bags says to inject it directly into the substrate. does anyone live in a dry area using these shroom bags and have a problem with that cuz i think thats what happened to mine.

You can reinject the injected failed bag with more spores where the bag is touching the substrate, I did it and it works fine. If you want to see some overwhelming success, look at the grow log form.

re:just wondering, people who did buy those myco bags, how many of you injected directly into the center of the substrate, and got 0 results?

Yes, I am having this problem too what does your substrate look like and how long have you been waiting??

"the online guide on how to use your shroom bags says to inject it directly into the substrate."
You must have over looked the part after that, look a few posts up.

"Does anyone live in a dry area using these shroom bags and have a problem with that cuz i think thats what happened to mine."
If you think your bags need a more water, follow my rule of thumb, it's a few posts up. If it's dry, you can inject more water, as described a few posts up.

I'm just wondering guys, are you even reading the posts or do you jump on and post questions that have been answered numerous times?

You want to see it, look at the grow log form. My grow log can be found here:

>OK, let me make something extremely clear, if you inject the spores into the bag, and into the substrate, you will get no results,

I didn?t have that experience. In my case it didn?t really matter since you spread the mycelium anyway through substrate by "massaging" the bag.

That's interesting anno, that's good to know, but from personal experience I didn't have any luck, even though I massaged the bags after a week, there was no mycelium for me. As for everyone else who have been saying the bags are terrible have injected directly into the substrate and got no results after 2 months. Well can you go into more detail about how you injected the bags and how you massaged them?

what i was wondering was if any1 in an extremely hot, dry enviroment has had problems with these grow bags, i think they may not be working because it isn't humid enough. by the way i live in arizona. is there any way i could get moisture back in the bag and get the mushroooms to grow in the same bag as before.

And some massage oil

No, like you described it.
i inoculated through a alcohol swab cleaned bag wall, and i put a tape over it afterwards. Stored at 80?F.

One more thing, if you guys are impatient like me and don't want to wait long for results, why choose the longer method and inject into the substrate? It says to inject it at the edges for faster results.
