unusual growbox system

Hi there,
I received a growbox from Holland just before the ban took effect. I had ordered a few growboxes over the past few years and wonder if I should follow the instructions for this new one. It looks exactly the same but this time it says I have to make holes in the substrate with a fork and spray water daily. Also it is said there shouldn't be more than two harvests. I am surprised and a bit disappointed as with the previous growboxes I would get at least four harvests and wouldn't have to make holes with a fork or spray water daily.
I am tempted to proceed just like for the previous growboxes, so my question to you all is: could it spoil the whole thing?
Thanks for your answers.

Does it really looks identical to the last one? Someone actually posted about this today in this thread:

Yeah it looks like the one on the video of the link. I can't see any difference with the previous growboxes I got.
It also says after the first harvest I "may" get a second one but should soak the substrate in water for 4 hours instead of 24 hours.

Was it from the same place? If it really is the same thing, I don't see why the previous methods wouldn't work. I mean, grow-bags w/ a filter patch don't need to have water sprayed into them daily, as long as the substrate is of the proper moisture content. I can't tell which way to do it tho as I've never even seen or heard of these things - it's tough to say.

I purchased the growbox from Shayanashop while I got the previous ones from Conscious Dreams.
I agree with you J3illy, I don't see why I couldn't do it the old way, seems like they want me to get a small harvest!

Edit: Damnit Acidtundra, dont double post and don’t bump old threads
Previously: Don’t use a fork, and only spray water if surface consitions dictate. The fork is just a stressor that can cause pinnig but noone does that here, better to introduce fruiting conditions and wait imo. You can probably follow the way you did before, instructions come from people who think they know how to do things better than you, sometimes they’re right, sometimes not.
