I was trying several different strains and azurs were one of them, but I screwed up and did them on rice flower with no results. I took some old casings down to the creek and buried them on a log, covered them with straw and watered and left. Last night, I went down to water and saw some caps. They looked like azurs, what I have seen in pics, but they did not bruise blue, and had a texture that was gooy. I tasted one and it had the right taste, but was gooy and I just dried the rest. do they bruise blue like cubes?

Azurescens should have one of the strongest bluing (staining almost black) reactions since this species contains perhaps the highest known concentrations of psilocybin and related chemicals.  The bluing reaction should not be your sole guide in determining what this mushroom is though.  Go check out a field guide like Psylocybin Mushrooms of the World to help with your identification.
