I guess I left out the ability to comprehend. Thanks for filling in the third possibility.
Why are amazing and extraordinary powers less powerful and amazing than a child picking up a penny from the floor? Why are spiritual powers supposedly capable of moving mountains unable to move a nanogram of material? Why are the "healing" powers of prayer no different than random chance? Why is telepathy no different than random coincidence?
Billions believe in special powers that are not special and cannot be shown. If that is not mental illness then I am not sure what is.

Maybe these powers have nothing to do with this world. Though I CAN PROOVE mushrooms give you big powers compatible with the real world! Just think mushrooms gives you another view on the reality. Food and everything around you gives the normal view that all people have. Now just make the equation system formed by theese 2 diffrent realities and you will find the only reality! I know a lot of you have thought of this...

aye, tai chi.......it is not so much mystical powers but changing and controlling the flow of energy through the human body. Chi is energy controlled. aye is can be viewed as mystical powers but also just a shit load of training and will power of the mind. One day i will become that good. But when i do become that good, it will be like nothing to me. I will have an aura or presence around me. it will be total controll. I am sure you felt this around your master Swami. If not then i guess he was not at that level. But no doubt probibly still a bad ass mother fucker

Here is one of Timothy Leary's responses in an interview to something. I just thought of it when reading this post. I share the same views as him, and look at what people call material or spiritual as energy.

Just because your eyes can't see something doesn't mean its not there. If somebody else (with their eyes more open perhaps) sees something and tells you that beyond the shadow of a doubt there is something there, will you believe him? Maybe you'll try looking yourself, but maybe you brain just can't interpret the images and steadfastly denies its presence. Either way, lets all just try to keep an open mind and not so valiantly disagree with things we cannot undestand, because maybe there's somebody out there who can.
