Homemade Bulk Humidifier

Hello fellow shroomerites,
Im a long time reader and a second time poster and Ive got an idea for a bulk humidifier. Ive read through posts from agar and mycocurious about building a bulk humidifier for a martha or greenhouse setup, and I think Ive found a cheaper solution to accomplish the same desired outcome.
I ordered a fogger from mainland mart (the link that everyone posts for foggers) with plans to also purchase a cage fan, transformer, heater, cycle timer, and an air pump. I realized, after it arrived, that I have a large plastic tub and a cool mist humidifier already and could mod those to fit my needs.
I could drill holes in the side (near the top) of the tub, fill it with water, put in the fogger and seal the top on to make it air tight. Then I could connect the cool mist to one side, an outgoing hose on the other side that would lead to the greenhouse.
Now I have two questions about this setup.
Should I hook the cool mist and the fogger up to the same timer and set it for short intervals 4-8 times per day? Or should I leave the cool mist on 24/7 and have just the fogger come on for those intervals?
Any input would be much appreciated, thanks in advance.

Quite a few people have done this and posted teks on it, it works.
You're just gonna have to experiment with everything tho, while watching the %RH. Once it's in the high 90's, turn it off, and wait till it drops to whatever your threshold is. Try it w/ each device, w/ a combination of each, etc..

Make sure it's able to be calibrated. You can get a decent one at a cigar shop or online. Then calibrate it w/ the damp-towel test. Get a towel nice and damp, to the point right before it's dripping. Wrap the hygro up in it good for an hour, and then immediately set it to 99%.

First mine was simple like this:

Then I got a smaller fan and moved it all to the side like this:

Then I realized I was going to have to fully isolate the fan away from the chamber with water in it... like this:

have the air pump/bubble stone, and CPU fan on 24/7. The Pond fogger is set to be on for 15 minutes every hr. My Martha will drop to like 90% RH, then the fogger kicks on and then it goes to 100%, and so on...
