Paul Okenfold is awesome. If you are trippin good the song "Under the Influence" by Chemical Brothers is almost too much to take!! Paul Van Dyke is good too. DJ Jean too but he is more dance and less trance.

..you should check out the hamburg GOA scene: Spirit Zone and Free Form are two good german Trance labels, Nephim and Plastic Park, Spiral Trax are also very good and Dragonfly (England) Flying Rhino (england)are also popular european labels find out more @ http://www.chaishop.com (THe international Psi_trance site) some good producers I just listen at this moment: Tarsis, Feuerhake, Shiva Chandra Shpongle (sp?) Hallucinogen Halldolium (if you lie it dark and hard) you should also check out some good DUB... the Dubhead-compilations are a good way to start that can also be said about Goa trance...just buy some best of CDs of the above mentioned labels, and check out more of the DJs you like...
Detroid Acid House also rocks but I only enjoied it once a Dj called Dereg deLarge (or so ?) from Detroid really rocked the floor...

Orb:live in 93, orblivion, beyond ultraworld. any exept UFOFF. the live cd kicks ass very much. track 3 on the second rules i think its called assasins KMFDM: i know you don't think electronic when you here kmfdm, but i PROMISE get the album ADIOS. IT WILL BLOW YOUR MIND! that album rules. also check out the new MDFMK album.

i was really surprised to see it took people so long to mention fsol. if tripping on lsd go with isdn, if on mushrooms go with lifeforms. also, dj q-bert is the most amazing spinner out there, but again, not good for shroomies, just lsd.

Yeah FSOL is amazing. Aphex Twin is a trip too. I like "Selected Ambient Works '85-'92" best for shrooming; the rest are pretty dark and could cause someone to freak out if theyre going that way already (Come to Daddy anyone?)

shpongle - deep, alive. alternately, early enigma, and delerium are also good choices rabbit in the moon remixes - techno-y sash & john digweed - any of the northern exposure series is great, alternating between organic and electronic.
