heres some pics... not very good but you get the point


notice the thick white myceial in the upper right section of pic and then the tiny green dot directly in the middle... it almost looks black or brown cuz of my cam but its really green...
heres a kind of better pic of the same growth...



heres a different growth.... fuzzy white myceial in direct middle... small sac-like green growth just to the left of it... is it parasitizing my shrooms or just competeing with them?

If it is green get rid of it now.

Never keep moldy substrate around all it does it spread more spores around to infect more stuff.

Green mold starts off as a whiteish grey mass/fuzz then turns green as it matures and sporalates. A trained eye can see green mold before it sporalates.

its not in a jar, its in a plastic rubbermaid box... i'm a newbie so i cant really tell the difference between good myceial and other growth.... i dont want to throw away my whole crop so i sprinkled some baking powder on and around the 6 or 7 green dots... hopefully it'll kill the bastards!

oh
and i dropped the temp down to around 63 degrees... hopefully it'll slow the growth.... i've been looking at pics and i'm pretty sure its tricho.... it could be penicillin or aspergillis tho....
just gonna try airing it out more and attack whatever new spots i found....
i really wasn't expecting contamination this early... i keep everything in a pretty much sealed insulated box... i figured i'd start having problems when i started taking the grow box out of the microclimate to give it light and air exchange for pinhead stage...

god damn molds!
