Pick up resistance 2 (http://www.gamespot.com/ps3/action/resistance2/index.html?tag=topten;all;4), I heard its quite an eye pleaser in terms of graphics. Umm, you can also try Little Big Planet (http://www.gamespot.com/ps3/action/littlebigplanet/index.html?tag=topten;all;8), I'm pretty sure that would be super trippy on acid (depends on dosage I guess).
I really don't know of too many attention grabbing trippy as hell ps3 games, 360 on the other hand, so very many to choose from.
GTAIV if you already haven't tried it, it was pretty cool on shrooms for me but it won't keep you entertained for too long (especially if you're peaking, but then again who the heck plays video games while peaking?).
The trippiest, coolest game with sweet graphics and tons of "OMFG did that just fucking happen?" moments hands down = Gears of War 2. I'm so playing that when I trip balls next time (whenever that may be). Single player mode on that thing IMO is better than CoD4 single player and when I played CoD4 I shat myself (the nuke scene  ).
When I trip balls, I play single player games (exception = halo3, thats so much fun on multiplayer/xbl) so thats just my style/what I like. You have to find out what you like when tripping, what may work for me may not work for you.

Plasma Pong is the shit! This is the best "trippy game" ever. This + mushrooms + music = heaven on earth. Haha, this game is great. You can download it HERE. The site is in Dutch or something--pretty self-explanatory how to download it though. The game is in English.
"Sandbox Mode" is even more awesome than the actual pong game itself, in my opinion. Hours of fun on "one of those nights"!

That looks awesome. I feel like little anime video games would be cool too. Where it's like really bright colored people running around collecting something. Something not too complicated but w/ bright colors. But that's just me.

Buy Rez for the PS2 or Rez HD for Xbox 360 arcade. If you can't find a PS2 copy of the game you can wait I read somewhere it was coming to the PSN network for the PS3 now that the controller has rumble.

Not Dutch but Deutsch  Yeah, the site is in german.
The game rules, lots of fun.
And damn, I'm still waiting to find Rez in the budget bin to play it on the playstation my younger brother owns.

^How come? Think about it, the Internet is an incredibly psychedelic piece of technology. It's a major step in the direction of an actual collective consciousness. Exploring the Internet can be absolutely fascinating whilst tripping.

because i find that psychedelics help me to let go of this world,
and for me,
letting go of this world is so extremely liberating and blissful.
playing the internet or surfing computergames means to continue being stuck in this world.
i prefer spend my trips being out of my mind/"ego", than inside it.

^Quite so, but psychedelics are all about new experiences. Don't take psychedelics with the same intent and purpose every time. I like to experience life on psychedelics. Often times, I'll dose and go about my business. It's a fascinating exercise, exploring the world whilst tripping.

I like to surf around teh intarwebs while I'm tripping occasionally. Lots of neat stuff on that internet.
I agree there are generally more interesting things to do than play video games while you're tripping, but there are a few games that are just perfect. The Xbox Live arcade on the 360 has a lot of good ones, actually - Rez is my favorite game to play tripping ever, and Space Giraffe seems designed from the ground up to steal your face.

Resident evil 3 for gamecube. I have played hundreds of games while tripping but RE3 has been the most entertaining to my mind I suppose. To much going on the screen will most likely overstimulate and you might lose focus of the gameplay itself.

Oblivion is pretty fun tripping in my opinion. I'll forget what the game is about and just wander around and get really scared when someone attacks me having forgotten there are people who dislike you in the game lol.
I also love to play old school nes/snes games while tripping. You can just dl the roms if you didn't know. I love the simplicity when tripping, it's so nice, though still can be confusing.
Well really, what game isn't fun while tripping?

Not on topic, but, you should think about picking up the Wii & Smashbros. I absolutely love the game cause its a party game and my buddies n me usually drink n battle each other. One time when i dosed on smashbros & pink floyd.

Ps3 network, download the pixeljunk - Eden demo, it's free, and it's a very drug friendly game.
