Yesterday evening I harvested approximately an ounce wet of some fully grown Tasmanian strain cubies.

I ingested half that amount (which would equal around 1.5 dry grams, perhaps slightly less) on a full stomach. Throughout the entire night, I felt perhaps a slight body buzz, nothing more.

This is my third time doing mushrooms, the first two times I ate approximately a gram dry both times and tripped to the point of ego loss/ OEV... this time, nothing. It should also be noted that the past two times were bought 'shrooms, while these were cultivated by myself. Any ideas as to why?

Perhaps there is a contamination growing unbeknownst to me that is breaking down the psilocybin content of the mushrooms? Maybe I need to eat more?

I'm extremely confused and slightly dissappointed... any thoughts on the matter are greatly appreciated.

1.5 grams dry is quite a low threshold dose. You might want to up the dosage a little bit to get the effects you're looking for. Perhaps the reason you could trip off such a low amount on the first 2 times is that you haven't done it before and even low amounts of shrooms can make you trip quite hard. But now that you've tried them, you might have to up the dosage a little. There could be a little tolerance in play here. When did you last consume shrooms?

Thats the thing... its been since early August since I last tripped... my first time was in June.

Also, I might have around an eighth ready to consume by tomorrow... since I "dined" last night, would eating tomorrow mean my tolerance is extremely high... or would it not matter since I barely got a threshold dose last night?

well one wet once is only 2.8 dry grams... so if you took half that, it's only 1.4g...
just take a bigger dose next time :smile: 

and remember to harvest your shrooms just before they break the veil, or else they start losing potency :wink:
